OK so this one is actually the toughest of all the polls I think. Its the 2nd tier europen comp and well probably the three crountries closest to each other. Russia ofcourse have been in the WC qualifiers last year and showed that they are still a bit off the top European powers, but they are determined to get some silverware in the cabinet. Lebanon... will most proabably field their Liban Espoir side which is still very strong but had a close call with the Serbians last year in a friendly 16-14. Serbia in my eyes are the movers and shakers in European RL anyway, they have made some big strides since 2006 in their WC qualifiers and probably can pull a win against the Lebanese. they will face Russia at home in Belgrade and this could also lead to their advantage. Like I said its a close one this, three experienced sides all battle hardened in the last two years... I am throwing in a 4th option for those that want to cop out... the referee. But I am going to go with the slight dark horse and Serbia on this. This could be a real surprising year in my eyes.

I think, providing its the Espoir side that takes the field for Lebanon that Russia will still be too strong, I do hope this is the year Serbia push forward. This same fixture in the 2006 qualifying game for the world cup - Serbia 6 - 44 Russia
So there is a lot to do for Serbia.

Wel this will be close, If lebanon field players from the NRL and/or ESL I'd say them but seeing as it will probably be a espoir side i will go russia in a really tight comp. Hopefully the Russian, Lebanese and Serbian public can get out and support the boys. That's if the comp even happens

So Liban Espoir is only the local players? I've gone for Russia but Lebannon will give them a good go.

Has it been confirmed that Lebanon will palye their home games in Lebanon?
If they do and they dont hlod Lebanon's games in the UK (as they have previously) I would like to get out and see Serbia v Russia in Belgrade as you may sense I am really exited by this game and to see if Serbia can overtake the floundering Russians.

I still think the russians would win, but as long as kleb is running the show they won't go forward. What has to be done to get him out of RRL. Still, wouldn't mind if Serbia beat them as good things seemed to be happening there. I wonder if any of lebanon's overseas players will be released? Jarrodd Saffy is in and out of first grade, Frank Samia I don't think has played an NRL game this year, George Ndaira is a regular for Souths now so I don't see him being released to play and efinatley not farrah or el masri.

We are preparing for: Sept. 20 - v Russia Oct. 4 - at Lebanon
I still don't know Russia v Lebanon date, maybe it is the reason why it is not advertised so far.
