Without a doubt there is quality in the Ireland side.
Really hope Mccarthy sticks with the side for his whoe career because he is defenitley a player of the future.
Most importantly for me there are 10 domestic players. When the NI conference is going strong in a few years then andy Kelly will have lots and lots of choice.

Strongest squad by far IMO, Wales might get them in a couple of years with the young talent they have and a direct path to SL but for now I think Ireland are favorites for this tournament.

Ben Harrison has been called up to the England squad.
Tony smith says "some english guys want to play for Ireland and some Irish want to play for England. It works both ways" Something along those lines. Anyway i think its a joke playing for two different nations. Whether it be one year apart or ten years later.

Both guys are in the England squad, Ireland coach Andy Kelly has been pretty diplomatic about the whole thing, at the end of the day the lads are English born, and Ireland rely on English players to bring the quality of their side up. we cant knock them for playing by the rules, its just we all know the rules are a bit of a joke.

Italy V Scotland kicks the tournament off on Saturday, I expect Scotland by about 20, seems a light prediction but playing at home should be a benifit for Italy and hopefully a good home crowd can come and support them. Hopefully they can handle the step up in level.

I dont think your a million miles off, the scottish squad is not as strong as their WC squad, it will be tough for the jocks going over there, Italy should have a few in the ground and they are an unknown quantity with a bit of quality here and there, guys like Franze

if they do, i will wear a dress for the day. 2150 from what I've heard, not too far off. 104-0 Scotland. Shame such a good crowd on the Italians behalf had to witness that, I was think a 50 point scoreline at the most, tipped Scotland by 20.

I didn't expect Scotland by that many but it was pleasing to see a couple of thousand people go along for a look

a great win by Ireland yesterday winning 82-0 against Serbia. a blowout score wasnt good but there is a clear gap between the UK nations and the rest, although will be great to see how Lebanon goes. crowd was 500 , disapointing IMO

Huge win, I dont think 500 is terrible. Serbia arent exactly giants of the game. Im sure if it was Ireland v Scotland itd be a much better turnout.
