So its pretty much confirmed from people I have been talking to. The two groups in this will be Group A Lebanon Russia Scotland
Group B Ireland Serbia Wales
Final: Winner A vs Winner B
Two games that I can confirm... sort of... Serbia vs Wales in Belgrade and Wales vs. Ireland in Bridgend. So who do people think will win. I think Wales could get this one.

I think it's not impossible that the other four (beside the finalists) play for 3rd and 5th place.

Is that a touch nose sort of thing Spider? October24 Russia vs. Scotland - Moscow 24 Serbia vs. Wales - Belgrade 31 Ireland Vs. Serbia - Dublin 31 Lebanon vs. Russia - TBA (This is to make sure no war is going on I suppose.) November07 Scotland vs. Lebanon - Glasgow 07 Wales vs. Ireland - Bridgend 14 Cup Final - TBA England (neutral venue looks like smart move... my money is on the Leeds/Bradford/Cas area... or the new Leigh SV ground which is pretty swish)

How difficult a trip is it from Barrow to Glasgow Marv? IIRC when i was there with ya in whitehaven the roads were pretty shocking... speaking of which, I have to head up again and see those roman ruins.

Its not exactly easy, from Barrow to anywhere is a bit of a trek in UK terms, I flew to Barcelona a couple of years back from Glasgow airport, the train service was good and almost direct from Ulverston to Glasgow, so I would probably do that again. You know your welcome here anytime mate to watch some games with me and Dad, perhaps next time we should sample some of the "real" lake district, east of Barrow and Ulverston. Just hope Loko get a decent draw perhaps against an NL2 side so we can see them.

Ireland should win.
I'm really looking forwrad to this, great to see Russia and Serbia get the step up in competition which should pay off in a few years if this tournament continues. It also puts lesser known players in the spotlight and a great oppurtunity to catch the eye of a SLor NL coach. Mind you Fox won't show it so it'll have to be online coverage for me I suppose.

Anyone fancy having a stab on stadiums and what sort or crowds we can expect yet, what you think they will be or should be. Russia vs. Scotland - Moscow - Lokomotiv Stadium - 5000 (don't ask me why ) Serbia vs. Wales - Belgrade - - 1500 Ireland Vs. Serbia - Dublin - Donnybrook - 1500 Lebanon vs. Russia - Beirut - - 1500 Scotland vs. Lebanon - Glasgow - Hughenden Stadium - 1500 Wales vs. Ireland - Bridgend - Brewery Field - 3500 Cup Final - Widnes - Stobart Stadium - 4000 Have to I'm looking forward to this tournament, hopefully the RLEF can market it to TV channels and get it on across Europe, would be a big boost for all nations invloved to have their internationals telecast on their national TV.

As far as I know, Ireland will be host in Limerick and Wales in Bridgend, Russia in Moscow, Scots in Glasgow and Lebanese in Tripoli. These were announced on the RLEF meeting. Serbia is not yet decided about venue, because we are not sure if we are going to play in Belgrade or somewhere in the country.

While waiting for European Cup, Belgrade will host U16s European Cup for the second time in three years.
England, Wales and France will compete for the Cup and Serbia, Scotland and Euro Celts will play for the Shield. England will face their best national team (few last youth competition saw their combined outfits) and Wales want to complete the "double" after winning U18s last year. Euro Celts are be mixed more than ever having Irish, Russian, Czech, Serbian, Welsh and German boys in the roster.
