I dont think you need me to tell you why Todd Carney was not allowed into the UK. the old glug-glug, brum-brum, crash crash, run run  And another thing about Carney, we spent the last few hundred years getting rid of our convicts to Australia, we dont want your convicts back   ;D As for Crocker, sorry dont know, but I know the amateur visa rule has been tightend, and i think its a good thing |

so about the poll dan I have gone with the Dragons, Looks a good league in prospect this year, Leeds and Saints obviously look good, Wigan have recruited well and have some good kids in reserve grade, Bradford have also recruted well even though beaver is as old as my dad, but with glen morrison in the back row too and big dave solo on the bench, not to mention Burgess they have a good pack.
Greg bird will be a magnificent signing for them IMO, just hope he stays for longer than a year, he is the kind of import we should be bringing to the UK IMO.
We also have to remeber that quins and HKR's coaches have already said they feel they can push to win the league, bulish talk and i like it!!
with Catalans i feel they are almost right back at the start with potter gone it will be tough for Walters, and he already has some questions to answer with, on the face of it a ridiculous signing in Shane Perry.

I Agree the big 4 will be up there again, I expect Leeds and St to be in the 1 and 2 spots once more... this year, I dunno maybe with the new teams, the new flavour with expansion clubs... feels like its on the verge of something. Like the SL bubble has been growing and wanting to realse its fury and dazzle on the world and I think this might see the start of that. I know people will laugh but i think we will see a few surprises this year. I do think KR will be up there as will FC... expect that Hunberside derby to really fire this year... they will take back Hull for us  I think Castlfors and one of the expansion clubs will step up to the plate expect them to be in the top 8 and with to make it through to the choosing round... where I think they will knock off the top team... I just have this gut feeling and it aint last nights pizza! The Burish talk form KR is exactly what all teams should be doing, I would be pissed if a coach was not coming out and sayiong we can win the comp... let peopl laugh, but its what coaches and clubs should be doing. Cats will be up there agin I think, dont write them off yet... I dont think peopl should critisize before a ball has been kicked. |

tell me if I'm wrong wasnt england the only place that Mike Tyson was aloud to fight when he got out of jail i guess alot has changed since then .

I'm not critizizing the dragons but at the end of the day Dan you cant say Perry, at 31 and having only played -30 games for Brissie, its a strange one. Well sure Marv, I can se you point. But remember I am not really one to get into player profiling, i tend to look more generally at things. But maybe also think of it this way, the reason why Perry didnt get many runs in the NRL is that his style of play didnt suit. Maybe Walters has seen something in him that he thinks he will be more suited to the more expansive ESL and particularly french styles of play? I still say lets wait and see. Give me 1/4 season updates on what you think of him . |
