WOOO!!! I wonder if Leeds will pick them, if Hull KR win I have a feeling Leeds will pick them because they had them covered in the first week of playoffs. if le catalan dragons were to actually win the superleague GF then where would the world club challenge be staged? Good question, the biggest stadium in Perpignan is about 13k I think. Maybe Barcelona?! ;D That would get my vote. Unless they are taking the game to a neutral venue which might well happen one of these years.

there was talk last year about a neutral venue with peacock throwing Dubai into the mix. i dont think it will happen for the next WCC though.
i hope dragons dont have to play leeds TBh. it would be better in the final.

if le catalan dragons were to actually win the superleague GF then where would the world club challenge be staged? I've always felt that it should be held at Wembley now that its up and running. Playing there would give it that 'special' occasion

I really do wonder mate, The club call concept is gonna be an interesting one, nobody should want to play the dragons now either.

The concept works well in the uk and thats something else to think about should the dragons make the final, because if they do we could see a few more empty seats at old trafford than usual.

Playing there would give it that 'special' occasion It's certainly a good idea to play it in big stadiums, not wembley though, and certainly not if an English team isn't involved. I would say each club should try and allign itself with a big stadium (atleast 25k) if they win. Leeds - Elland Road, 40k Saints - Anfield, 50k Wigan/Warrington/Salford - CoM Stadium, 48k Hull/Hull KR - KC Stadium, 25k Catalans - Olympic Stadium Barcelona, 55k or Parc Des Prines Paris 48k Huddersfield - Galpharm Stadium, 25k Castleford/Wakefield - Bramal Lane, 33k Bradford - Odsal Stadium, 27k Celtic - Cardiff City Stadium, 27k Harlequins - White Hart Lane, 36k Something like that anyway.

i dont pretend to know all that much on french stadiums but the 31,000 capacity stadia de la mosson in montpellier or the 36,000 capacity stadia municipal in toulouse would have to come into consideration. these are both soccer stadiums though so the rent might be onscene and the availability might be quite rare.
i like your idea about each club being tied to a 25k stadium though jim. this is a hell of a lot easier in AUs with RL being the major sport for most of the teams and meblurne and nz both having stadiums over 25 (or will next yr). stadiums like Anfield might be quite difficult to get hold of though. although they are jey stadiums in the union world cup in 2015.

Surely he could have pushed Bell to centre, Stacul on the Wing and Touxagas to the bench instead on A Bentley. And surely that forward back has just been listed back to front. On a side note 13 Frenchmen in the team ;D Good to see Gigot get a starting spot and Vaccari and Simon make their debuts. I hope Gigot maintains a starting spot even when Walker and Sa come back.
