Great game, well done Wire.
Only problem for me was having to put up with Vossy trying to make it as Aussie as possible in the pre-game, half time and full time.
The Lance Todd was definatley Lee Briers for mine, Monaghan went OK but Briers was brilliant IMO. What the Welsh would give to have his services again.

I chatted with Marv during the game bout it and we both agreed Briers should have got it.
Mona was OK but Briers literally terrorised Shuddersfield.
As for Vossy, he was at least enthusiastic and Sterlo was dignifies as always... you could see he had fond memories of the game.
As now for Phil Gould... the guy is a numpty on his comments this morning about the ESL and that it a reserve garde comp. Simply because they choose to throw the ball round more than in the NRL... Gyer is starting to annoy me as well.... why aren't there any quality footy shown on FTA!

I doubt he has watched a SL game anytime recently and just chooses to spout the same crap. It's people like him that make me not mind seeing Australia lose!  . Hope England have it on tape and play it in the dressing room before their game in the 4N. He should really have kept his mouth shut anyway, I doubt channel 9 would like it much having one of their employees devalue a competition they have paid to get the rights of. It would be like a ABC commentator saying he doesn't watch QLD cup because it's a crap standard. |

The try he scored and the one he set up were both a result of Robinson rushing off the line. Briers had it easily IMO and if I had to pick somebody else I would have gone Wild, Moore or Bridge. |
