Full time: Fev 18 (08) v 12 (12) Hull Uni.
The Uni boys did East Yorkshire proud as they dominated the first fifty minutes of the game. Conditions were wet, muddy and bloody cold!

just an update on sundays results
Royal Navy 38 Valley Cougars 28 Leeds Met 36 Warrington Wizards 6 RAF 16 Edinburgh Eagles 18
the other cancelled games will be played on the weekend 31st January/1st February
the nest round of fixtures will be round 2 proper and I think will feature the Russian second place qualifier, allthough i have heard a rumour that only one Russian side will be in the comp this year, which would be a shame.
Well done to Edinburgh Eagles beating the RAF and they will be in Round 2, Edinburgh V Vereya in Rd 2.
what a great clash that sounds!!
But at Portsmouth something even better happened. Six of Valley Cougars players who are on Celtic colts books plus a host of Welsh "A" and even a full international in Gil Dudson and the navy side also having 7 of GB's armed forces world cup winning side, so plenty of talent on show in the early rounds of the comp, just a shame I couldnt get to portsmouth for that game, would have loved to have seen such quality players on show.

Go you Stanley Rangers!
Is ity just me or does it seem like non-english teams play each other alot. I remember loko played celtic last year, and this it's the Eagles V Vereya, might the biggest chance for a Russian team so far.

Is ity just me or does it seem like non-english teams play each other alot. I remember loko played celtic last year, Nah, not at all, not for me anyway, I think though, gateshead have drawn french opposition for the last 4 years!! its an open draw, or so were told and this it's the Eagles V Vereya, might the biggest chance for a Russian team so far. no it isnt mate the draw hasnt been done yet, that was just my ideal draw there, sorry to get your hopes up!!

SWSEET! Do tell, we love good RL stories. No real interesting story I'm afraid. Our High School had a RL exchnage program with a school in England and every year we'd send two over for 2 months then they'd do the same. 6 of my teamates went there 2 of them were 2 of my best mates. So far 10 have come to our school, although I never met the first 2 because I was still in under 15's and didn't meet the last 2 because I had finished school. I did however meet 6 pommy champions, that I still talk to when I get a chance.
