Yes him and Lee Gilmour (sts second row) pledged to England about 18 month ago, horne probs wont get in England squad though. both played for scots in 2000 the other thing about horne is scotland have 2 hendersons one is in NRL, Danny Brough at 7 who will skipper and Ben fisher from HKR at 9 so they have a few decent halfbacks which makes them look strong in comparison to the other pool teams inc Irlenad and France we pretty much know the Islanders have no halfbacks

Unfortunate for Scotland that those two switched because they are quality. Anyway from that squad I would go with something like this: 1. Greame Horne 2. Micheal Robertson 3. Kevin Henderson 4. Mick Nanyn 5. Jon Steel 6. Andrew Henderson 7. Danny Brough (C) 8. Scott Logan 9. Ben Fisher 10. Paul Jackson 11. Oliver Wilkes 12. Duncan MacGillivray 13. Ian Henderson14. Chris Armit 15. Daniel Heckenberg 16. Keith Galloway 17. Rhys Lovegrove18. John Duffy 19. Nathan Armit Too many hookers and front rowers I think. lol.

I agree but they need to find homes for the creative players like henderson at 13 and perhaps some of the props can double as back rowers like you have done with wilkes? I would have a question mark over grahame horne and maybe they could use him off the bench as he is versatile, they used Brissie easts fullback wade liddell in the quals and he seems commited (paid his own way over for the quals!) so i think he is at fullback for sure.

Yeh I think that will need to be done, I was talking to a Warriors fan on an NRL forum and he thinks I Henderson would go well at lock forward I tend to agree. Yeh I heard that about Wade Liddell, we need more people like him and Mark Lennon etc. not saying they should pay their own way but we need more loyalty.

Absolutly regardless of these guys being Aussies they appear Loyal to their country and for that reason Liddell should be the no1.

For what its worth Arana Taumata has been added to the NZ train on squad. Maybe Kearney wants to give him a little experience in the camp since he's signed with Melbourne for next year

I have no idea whats going on with these train on squads but interesting to note that Inu is in this Samoan squad but not the first. Also Paleasina in this one so I guess he's sorted out his legal troubles.

I can't see any of those players making the New Zealand squad anyway. Maybe Roberts but at Samoa he adds something for the halves. Darkhorses for sure.
