Yes him and Lee Gilmour (sts second row) pledged to England about 18 month ago, horne probs wont get in England squad though.

both played for scots in 2000

the other thing about horne is scotland have 2 hendersons one is in NRL, Danny Brough at 7 who will skipper and Ben fisher from HKR at 9 so they have a few decent halfbacks which makes them look strong in comparison to the other pool teams inc Irlenad and France we pretty much know the Islanders have no halfbacks

Unfortunate for Scotland that those two switched because they are quality.

I agree but they need to find homes for the creative players like henderson at 13 and perhaps some of the props can double as back rowers like you have done with wilkes?

I would have a question mark over grahame horne and maybe they could use him off the bench as he is versatile, they used Brissie easts fullback wade liddell in the quals and he seems commited (paid his own way over for the quals!) so i think he is at fullback for sure.

Yeh I think that will need to be done, I was talking to a Warriors fan on an NRL forum and he thinks I Henderson would go well at lock forward I tend to agree.

they are a farce, im surprised people are giving tony smith a hard time about not releaseing his england WC squad because its not helping the comp with publicity, all these train on squads with ten players in 3 squads have done is got the comp negative publicity

NZ have released Ben Roberts (Samoa), Fetuli Talanoa (Tonga) and Manase Manuakafoa (Tonga).

Because he has played for New Zealand in the past two years, Roberts must now seek International Federation special dispensation to play for Samoa in next month's tournament.

I can't see any of those players making the New Zealand squad anyway. Maybe Roberts but at Samoa he adds something for the halves. Darkhorses for sure.
