Yeah bloody mind games... I think the strips need to be set on a few months before the start.
I hope the Warriors pummel them both!

They'll make the top 4 this year IMO. I went nuts when Gareth scores through the combination of 3 things. 1. My dislike for Manly 2. Tipped the Tigers and 3. Ellis was captain of my fantasy side

How do you rate him Marv? Wests are a better chance than Souths IMO, South have a better forward pack but Souths halfs won't win them anything IMO. Sandow is too hot-headed and not good enough at controlling the game for a half-back, hope he proves me wrong. Sutton would be best suited to backrow and I'd only be playing him at 5/8 if he had a dominant halfback to play alongside.

I cant say I ever saw anything in England that made me think he would ever be a stand out, he didnt really play that many 1st grade games for Wigan that I can remember either. I just hope he does well in the NRL really, its good to see some English guys out there again. Wests are a better chance than Souths IMO, South have a better forward pack but Souths halfs won't win them anything IMO. I agree, I dont know the ins and outs of the souths roster but I dont see them getting close to the GF, again its just interesting to see how Sam will go, hopefully he will stay fit.

All I saw him do tonight was have two runs, dropped the ball and got in the way of an attacking spread. It appeared that way to me anyway. Not a great debut by any means but Sheens didn't give him a chance to redeem himself, hopefully he's in the side for next week to get a chance to do just that. Have to say Ellis was close to MoTM for me, hit hard, handled Watmough every time he ran the ball and made some great runs. I'm also very interested to see how Sam goes, dissapointed that he's not playing behind a great half. It went both ways, accidental or not there was still contact with the head. are you talking about the george rose incident? There were about 3 or 4 penalties against Manly for hitting a falling player high with a swinging arm. Rose's was by far the worst, the rest were all deserving of a penalty, nothing more.

For sure, he was very underrated last year, but just ask Tigers fans and they'll tell you how valuable he was. I watched most tigers games last year and whilst he only stood out in a few games he never had a bad one.

he was like that at Leeds, a top grafter, especially in defence, which allowed back rowers like Lauititi to be a bit more expansive with the ball, Lauititi hasnt been the same force since Ellis left Leeds.

I thought the two incidents i saw (didnt get a decent reliable stream until 30+ mins), both involving rose i think, were certain pens.
