wow druzik , that is an amzing backdrop. where is it? It is Bad Reichenhal in Germany, its a town of about 10,000 that sits on the border with Austria. Its about 30 min from Salzburg (Austria) and an hour from Munich (germany). Germany's first capatin Leo Berngruber came from here so they played his testimonial last year against the Euro Celt team, the one and only full open Euro Celt team to date! Its sits in a valley in the Bavarian alps, some of the mountains around the town were still snow capped and it was middle of summer at that time (august), some of the mountains themselves must have been at least 1200 meters! What you see there is basically the foot hill mountains that lead up into the major alpine ranges in France and Italy. They snake their way from the Tatry which border Poland and Czech Rep and snake their way to france along the Austrian German, Italiand Swiss and french borders. Bad Reichenhall is famous for two things, its salt, which is famous all over Europe and its natural hot spring baths (hence the name Bad) which I enjoyed while there. of course they are very salty.
