It will be great when i finally get to go to Aus to see these stadiums, the hillside stands look crazy, could you imagine those in the middle of a wet UK autum, we would all be sliding onto the pitch!! i can imagine. i went to a game at Leichart Oval (photos above) and they had that problem with the hill. Also , bloody video screen si behind everyone so no one can see! they only play 3 games per year there though. will be interesting when redeveopements of their otehr home ground Campbelltown are complete. they wont sit around and have only 3 NRL games per year there. If the Tigers don;t give them more theyve said they dont mind approaching other clubs like the roosters

Some nice travels there, I'd love to get over to PNG. except the PNG (some guy in PNG sent me that) and Barrow (Marv's photos) yes they are all mine, that's about 1/5 of the places I have been to to see RL. Are there any requests to see what I have got?! In many places the RL fields are no more than that a park marked out with the lines and posts put up, not actual stadiums, but some fo the background scenery is definitely well worth it.

wow , you have been to a lot of rugby league games druzik. what would you say the one with the most beautiful backdrop that you'vve been to is? How is this one! This is Bad Reichenhal in germany, its a town of about 10,000 that sits on the border with Austria about 30 min from Salzburg and an hour from Munich. Germany's first capatin Leo berngruber came from here so they played his testimonial last year against the Euro Celt team, the one and only full open Euro Celt team to date! Its also in a valley in the Bavarian alps, some of the mountains around the town were still snow capped and it was middle of summer at that time (august), some of the mountains themselves must have been at least 1200 meters! Bloody spectacular place it is. I have indeed, beleive it or not Euurope offers rugby league matches on probably 90% of weekend of the year, I'd say Xmas and Easter are the only times where you cant get to somewhere to see a game. Obviously this tims of year (their summer) is dominant but France, Lebanon and a couple other countries have their domestic season theourgh the winter months (out summer) and you get s abit of overlap. You also have the Amateur international teams from the UK, i.e. the BARLA and GB community teams play alot of their internationals in the december January period... with about 25 countries in Europe playing now you really can get to see the game in some amazing spots... just to give you an idea of places i have seen RL played UKBridgend (wales) Leeds Barrow/Whitehaven Manchester Leigh Huddersfield Salford London FranceParis Toulouse Carcassonne Albi Beziers Central EuropeHedelberg, Germany (I even played a tournament here!) Bad Reichenhall, Germany Munich, Germany Nurenberg, Germany Prague, Czech Rep. Olomouc, Czech Rep. Padua, Italy Baltic StatesTallin, Estonia Riga, Latvia ScandinaviaOslo, Norway Copenhagen, Denmark I am sure I have missed out on places. But other countries that have games wher you can see RL Belgium, Holland, Spain (catalonia), Portugal, Scotland, Ireland, Nth Irealnd, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Greece, Malta, Morroco (close enough) Sweden
