It seems a bit funny all of this business. It's almost as if he wanted to play Rugby League but it's being covered up by the sailing and other things. I dunno.

So on average what would the crowd sizes be for a home Celtic game?, five thousand?.

on average it would be around 3500-4000. the financial expectations of the club for its first year was an average crowd of 4500 i think. when the team starts winning the people will come. its important that the RFL sticks with them though.
crowd averages for every main club in the world are in rugby league review every month but unfortunately i dont have a copy on me.

That's not so bad considering their win/loss record in their first season I guess. I agree they need to stick with them, I'm sure with a few good buys they can be a successful club.

exact everage at the end of last month was 4,162 but i think that would have gone down a bit. if in 5 years theyre still getting below 4,000 people then i'd probly begin to question things.
harlequins avergage 3,369 and theyve been around longer. im not sure what solutions there are to increase their crowds but i think they do need a team in london. i hope celtics crowds increase faster than that.

Yeah mate they desperatley need some quality, I can see the lad white has some potential from reading the reserves reports and his two games so far this year but I feel if he is to really push on he needs someone better than Van Dyk alongside him. JVD has been around since they were in NL2 and its pretty clear those guys arent really up to SL.

Maybe they should try and keep hold of Matty Smith, atleast he is young and has some good potential. What other halves are on the market though? Since there aren't any Welsh ones they'll have to look elsewhere. Any of these players would be great for them R Burrow R Myler McGuire - Danny or Casey S Ratchford T Bosc G Bird S Long K Eastmond L Pryce L Briers - Would have been great if they got him from the start, Welsh International and all. A bit old now though maybe.
