But Catalans showed they have potential especially Bosc. He's a brilliant half. Celtic, what can I say. They've got poor imports, no names, and no bodies. I think bringing in Welsh guys, maybe chasing some Union guys ould have been much more successful. Small crowd too..

I've said it before, I'll say it again that Bosc is my favorite SL player and the best halfback in SL. Catalans frustrate the hell out of me because they have potential to be a top 4 team and be challenging the likes St Helens and Leeds. From the games I've seen this year they can show their very best for 10 minutes then go to shit for 10 minutes. I've said what I think Crusaders need to look at but it's not all that bad. They need to build for next year and a few wins would come in handy but they definatley need to do some good signing.

But Celtic, it's a bysmal, and I don't think they will get better any time soon. They'd be lucky to notch up a win against my local clubs side.

Yeah I guess it wasnt test level RL but the game was competetive, but also in saying that Catalans should have been able to pull away and not allow Celtic to make a game of it in that early second half period Celtic, what can I say. They've got poor imports, no names, and no bodies. I think bringing in Welsh guys, maybe chasing some Union guys ould have been much more successful. Small crowd too.. Yeah, the crowd was a shame, but the Dragons arent a draw like Wigan or Saints so lets not jump on them for that just yet. Everything else I agree with, Celtic are often uncompetetive like you say very average imports, I think Lincoln Withers is about the best of their bunch, I thought he looked lively.

I would like to see Celtic make an offer to Tuquiri now, it would probably need to be a big one but he could go very well in the centres and bring enormous amounts of publicity if he signed for the Welsh team. Every sports fan in Wales knows who he is and it would make big news if he signed for a RL club in Wales.
Celtic don't seem to be in the market though, I can't remember them signing anybody yet which is dissapointing because they need to make a few changes all over the park if they hope to be competitive. I seem to remember alot of players were on 1 year deals so they may be moving on which should make some room in the salary and the first team. They need to look at signing one or 2 marquee players and maybe a few solid juniors. Maybe they should look at a young Welsh union player who isn't on big money yet but has alot of potential.

I think TBH we wont see much activity from Celtic until next year, they have a few players who have played for them since NL2. I think now its pretty obvious some of those guys arent up to the task. Before going into the market to break the bank for a signing like Tuquiri they need to get the squad in order. A better 7 and 9 should be first up, together with a quality centre, Then theres the pack, which Lupton and O'Hara aside is being dominated every week.

I agree with you, they need to keep the best of their team from this year and get rid of the week links. The problem is who to replace them with? the juniors aren't there yet so they'll have to look to the market for atleast a few players IMO. IMO they should be targeting a Centre, Half and back-rower. Tuquiri would fill in well in Centre and be a crowd puller, I'll see if I can find an off contract list and see what players they could be taregeting.

Found the NRL list hereOut of these players I think they should look at, players in bold top priority: Dean Collis - Tigers - Centre Jeff Lima - Storm - Front Row Sika Manu - Storm - Back RowHeath Le'Estrange - Sea Eagles - Hooker Nigel Plum - Raiders - Back Row Thom Learoyd-Lahrs - Raiders - Front Row Paul Aiton - Panthers - Hooker Joseph Paulo - Panthers - Back Row/Utility Chris Walker - Titans - Wing Richard Fa'Aoso -Knights - Back Row George Ndaira - Knights - HookerTim Smith - Wigan - Halfback The market from the NRL isn't too great this year is it? especially with some of the best wrapped up. Can't seem to find any for the SL but that would be worth a look, maybe even Elite aswell. I think it might be best if they give Flower a few games starting and give a few of their juniors a run off the bench to start planning for the future.

Cheaper option to those you have mentioned Heath L'Estrange. Stranger actually picks sides up if you look at how Manly and the Roosters before hand play. Thom Learoyd-Lahrs would be a handy pick up now he was named NSW's 18th man last origin and looking to get him on the bench next game

An opurtunity perhaps? Gavin Henson quits Rugby UnionThey should let him have a bit of a break first then see if they can convince him to come and have a go at the club. Similar to Jamie Lyon to St Helens after he quit the Eels.

Christ! If he has quit then that suggests he will be able to sign for anyone as no compensation should be given to any clubs, it might be worth a trial, depends on his stance i guess.
