Is there anyone out there that can read Cyrilic and help out with updating the scores?

I've sent you an e-mail ten days ago, with new Russian schedule, I don't know if you saw it. If something went wrong with it, I'll send you again. Anyway, Russians decided to start from the beginning, because Dynamo (Moscow) and Nevskaya Zastava (St Petersburg) withdrew from the competition. Six teams continue the championships playing each other home and away, starting with 0 points.
Round 1 (21/22 June) Space 0-92 Lokomotiv Legion XIII 34-34 Arrow Crystal v Vereya (delayed for 29 June)
Round 2 (28/29 June) Lokomotiv v Crystal Legion XIII v Space Vereya v Arrow
Lokomotiv defeated Vereya 44-0 in the Cup final, which was played on 15 June in Moscow.

It does look like an upset, especially because Arrow bt. Vereya 18-16 and lost to Lokomotiv just 16-30 in the first stage, and Legion lost convincingly to those two (4-51 v Vereya and 0-72 v Lokomotiv). When we see that they post-ponned several games in the first stage (they actually played just v leading duo of Russian championship) it is obvious that something's happening in Kazan. Maybe they play with youngsters, probably pretty talented, but not motivated when they play versus other then Loko or Vereya. Their web-site is not running anzmore, so infos from Tatarstan are reduced. I heard that they were so angry on Lokomotiv's boss Evgeniy Khlebanov because they take all their best players, but the phenomenon of this draw v Legion XIII is very interesting and I would also like to know what happened there.

Semifinals weren't played, because the opponents of Lokomotiv and Vereya probably announced previously that they withdraw from the Cup and Russians scheduled final match for the term of semifinals. Round 1 post-ponned match: Vereya 66-8 Crystal Round 2: Space 18-22 Legion XIII I think that Crystal asked to play two away games in the same weekend to spare on the travel costs (Rostov-on-Don is about 1200 km far from Moscow). I'll resend you the mail with schedule today afternoon, there's an explanantion what happened with all those non-played matches. Standings after Round 2 1 | Lokomotiv | 2 (2-0-0) | 190-0 (+190) | 6 | 2 | Vereya | 2 (2-0-0) | 114-15 (+99) | 6 | 3 | Legion XIII | 2 (1-1-0) | 56-52 (+4) | 5 | 4 | Arrow | 2 (0-1-1) | 43-80 (-37) | 3 | 5 | Space | 2 (0-0-2) | 18-114 (-86) | 2 | 6 | Crystal | 2 (0-0-2) | 6-166 (-160) | 2 |

I heard that they were so angry on Lokomotiv's boss Evgeniy Khlebanov because they take all their best players. GET THIS MAN OUT OF RL Agreed, holding the russian game back I feel. IMO the russians could be alot further along, maybe even in the WC if it were not for khlebanov. His money is great but until he starts pumping it into the comp instead of one team It won't work. Get this guy out of RRL, get Tim Sheens as coach, get Roman Ovchinikov in and NRL or Sl club plus maybe a few others then sit back and watch Russia improve I say. Where is Ovchinnikov these days? Lokomotiv is guess, but why havn't a SLor NL gone looking at him since he wouldn't count in their overseas quota anymore and is obviouly a good player if he got a trial at the Tigers.

He would count on quota as Russia isnt part of E.U I belive Not sure how that works with these new laws for the developing nations

Maybe even NRL again.

Russian league already has an air of predictability about it. Spider do you belive that Serbia can overtake Russia this year or do you think the Russians still have the edge physically and Technically from their inclusion in English Challenge cup? Also Spider how do you think Dorocol would do against Loko or Vereya?

I don't think that Russians are so much technically better than our players. As the matter fact, I think that we have technically better players. Last time, they beat us just on better fitness, because the rain was so heavy and in second half that decided. I hope for a sunny day on September 20th and anything is possible.
Dorcol played two years ago v Vereya and it was about 30 points for Russians (they prepared for their season in Serbia). I think that Lokomotiv and Vereya are still better, maybe not that much.
