Should get at least 15,000. If the RLWC can get enough interest in NZ then we should be aiming for 20,000. Is it very likely they'll show either game on Fox or 9? Hopefully yes but NZ Warriors only got above 15k once in the season if I'm correct. Still this is the kiwis not the warriors and would be nice if the public could see them off in big numbers. Mt Smart always looks like it has more people than i has, Ruben's last home game the other day only had 15.7k but it looked atleast 18 to me, so if the Tonga game can get 20k it will look absolutley packed. I don't know much about Yarrow Stadium, what kind of crowd can we expect for this game? Ruben Wiki will play in that won't he? Hard to tell with FOX, they play the NZ tour of England last year but not the France game. I wouldn't be suprised either way but there is no reason they couldn't. They manage to use SKY NZ fees for Warriors game so why they wouldn't do it for an international is beyond me. Nine is a long shot but you never know. Yarrow stadium can hold about 20,000, the all Blacks just smashed Samoa there so the stadium is decent. I would say 6k would be about average for this match. I can see maybe about 10k showing up in Auckland, they only get about 16k for Australia so I can't see 15k for Tonga.

we shall see Beez, I dont see 15k myself, not for a freindly against Tonga Yeah I think I over estimated on this one. I always thought Mt. Smart held over 30k until they said the Warriors v Roosters was a sellout at 26k. If the NZRL were smart enough they could ride this Warriors wave in NZ at the moment but about the only place I've seen the Tongan game mentioned is the NZRL website. The weird thing is on the Ticketek website is says allocation exhausted for tickets in the upper and lower west and also the south stand which would be about 13k but there is no chance that is the case.

I think someone else mentioned this but a promo at this play off game could get a good crowd in for the test match, like a 2-for-1 offer The weird thing is on the Ticketek website is says allocation exhausted for tickets in the upper and lower west and also the south stand which would be about 13k but there is no chance that is the case. Lets hope it is the case I will happily eat my words.

I hope it's true but it seems a bit too good to be true. The game at Mt Smart last year got 28k didn't it? and I thought they put more seats in this year? edit: just checked the Mt Smart official website and it says capacity of approximatley 30,000.

They could also have a competition at half time to win tickets or something. This game was very much a suprise and NZRL should use the oppurtunity. When will be the next time 30,000 kiwis pack into a RL game?

The phrase there is " If they had any sense" we all know that RL organisers have absolutley no sense whatsover, and as such some of the sound ideas on here that seem so simple, never get implemented

Got a text from a mate today saying they were handing out fliers at the Warriors game for the test.
