Hopefully Mt Smart can get a good crowd for it, 12,000+ too much to ask? Hopefully we'll get both on FOX or 9.

If the RLWC can get enough interest in NZ then we should be aiming for 20,000. Is it very likely they'll show either game on Fox or 9?

Hopefully yes but NZ Warriors only got above 15k once in the season if I'm correct. Still this is the kiwis not the warriors and would be nice if the public could see them off in big numbers. Mt Smart always looks like it has more people than i has, Ruben's last home game the other day only had 15.7k but it looked atleast 18 to me, so if the Tonga game can get 20k it will look absolutley packed. I don't know much about Yarrow Stadium, what kind of crowd can we expect for this game? Ruben Wiki will play in that won't he? Hard to tell with FOX, they play the NZ tour of England last year but not the France game. I wouldn't be suprised either way but there is no reason they couldn't. They manage to use SKY NZ fees for Warriors game so why they wouldn't do it for an international is beyond me. Nine is a long shot but you never know.

I have seen atleast 8 games where it has been raining over there, probably more like 10,11. I don't think it is out of the question to get 15k+ on a good day. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I Don't think here will be an All Blacks test that week so it could well get a good crowd out.

I honestly do think that 15k is a achievable but it depends on alot of things. 1. The sides named, 2. the weather and 3. if there is an AB test the same weekend. If the sides are understrength or the weather is bad well i can easily see it getting 8-12k. It is Tonga but it will not be a normal Tonga side, it will be packed with NRL and SL players and will prvide very stern oposition to the kiwis.

I haven't taken much notice of the Warriors crowd numbers this season but I thought 15,000+ would be likely. The All Blacks home season finishes next week, the NPC (union) will still be on but Auckland are struggling and no one seems to care these days anyway. There is also a lot of Pacific Islanders in Auckland and the PI nations are fairly popular in NZ. If enough interest is generated in NZ for the RLWC then I think 15,000 could easily be achieved.
As for the game in New Plymouth; I have no idea what sort of crowd they'll get (I've bought 5 tickets so theres a start).

Yeah 8-10k is almost defo but 15k? not a chance regardless of what Tonga side it is if they cant get 15k to the NRL games how are they gonna do it for a Internatoinal freindly

I'd bank on it getting over 10 000 easy.

Of course i understand it Ryan, we do have immigrants in the UK too and maybe 10k is possible, but not 15k, no way But what you dont seem to understand is the regular RL world doesnt care for IRL as much as the people on this forum and everyone on here gets exited and over-exagerates things
