Riteo then sounds great, hope it's a good game then, just a question, will it be on instead of a SL game on sky, if so we might even get it in australia on fox who knows, anyway I think my best option (knowing fox) would be for you to record it so thanks.

Crowd: ~ 9289 (Fekin terrible). Which is a travesty because it was a great game. Every week the crowds are getting smaller and smaller at ANZ stadium. I hope the 100k teams get from playing a game there outweighs the extra money they would get from a bigger crowd if the game was played elsewhere. Tigers Vs Titans Sunday got 17,500 in a packed liechart oval, if it were played at ANZ it would have been about 12,000 I'd say. If a club averages 5,000 more at their subarban ground than they do at ANZ that would cover nearly cover the 100k once you account for the extra gate revenue and merchandisw and food sales. ANZ has gotten very few decent crowds this year, the standout being 36,000 to the roosters V bulldogs clash, i can't help but think if that was played at SFS it would have been 40,000+ maybe even a sellout.

Yeah I have never understoof the move to ANZ.
The old suburban crowds are great and with AFL trying to muscle in and buy ANZ its better they inherit the white elephant than the RL clubs continually try to prop it up.

Yeah I have never understoof the move to ANZ. The old suburban crowds are great and with AFL trying to muscle in and buy ANZ its better they inherit the white elephant than the RL clubs continually try to prop it up. Well from what i hear fans don't like for 1) Is pretty expensive 2) A pain in the ass to get to 3) the atmoshphere is shit with the crowds lately and not as important 4) not rectangular. I have to say that when i went to the GF in 2005 i quite liked the stadium and found it fairly easy to get to, ofcourse i was with my brother and and a group of 10 or so sydney residents. Regardless i think a crowd of 20,000 at say toyota park would make nearly as much if not more than a crowd of less than 15,000 at ANZ. Once you add the extra revenue, dont know how much the average ticket to suburban grounds cost, let's say they average $20 aswell as probably an average of $6 food and drink bought and an average of $10 merchandise per person. Thats an average of $36 per extra person and say there are 5,000 more to a game thats $180,000 right there. Take a bit off that profit for the extra cost for ANZ tickets and the 100k grant and it would probably be about even in $$$ but gives a better look to the game and a much better spectale and atmosphere for those involved.

Cronulla 16 eels 14
BUT
Crowd: 17,547 !
That is an awesome home crowd. Am sure several eels fans would have travelled there as well, but still, not too shabby.
