Lance Thompson? Just a small unimportant thing I would like to point out. I have a friend that is of Polish ancestry and is a fan of the Cronulla Sharks. Quite interesting I thought. And that would be me. Lance Thompson or Ryans Friend? De gois gone, last i heard they're trying to offload Kimmorley and Ross elsewhere and I'm certain covell will be gone very soon so that frees up quite alot of cash. But i pray to god they do not sign ryles, he gives away stupid penalties not to mention we do not need forwards! Yeah but still the money that is being spent on Toupou and probably what barrett Is gonna want is still more than what degios, Kimmorely and Ross are worth... or is there some figures we don't know about? I'll be very surprised if Covell goes though, the guys a Gem in my opinion, and we need to have a backup kicker if Barrett does come in... If we can afford those signings then they are very good ones. Though barretts been having a quiet year so far in SL... And agree no Ryles please Funny how many of the ex-St's players fleeing to Cronulla.

Ryans friend lol. Covell's form is down, he's only kicking at about 50% this year. I was almost embarrassed to be holding his banner last weekend, his kicking has cost us 2 games so far and i expect that number to rise if he's in the team much longer. Haha yea we're picking off the Stains rejects.

I think they reject Sts and not the other way round. Look Covell may have a few bad games... but it happens to all of them. He's a handy player.
So how does the new stadium look like? Being here in Germany its hard to see any NRL.

The stand isn't as big as i first expected but its fair sized. we had abit over 17,000 at the tigers game which was fantastic with the exception of the loss in the last 5 minutes. If u saw his kicking recently u may say otherwise, he's missing kicks from infront on a weekly basis now. Mitch Brown is back so if he doesn't pick up in the next 2 games he's gonna be playing with the reserves.

Oh gawd your kidding... and he's a Kiwi rep!
17,000 aint too bad for a Shark park crowd. But I remember the 21,000 for a Derby back in 2001... you could hardly move, it was chockers on a Sundee aftanoon! Is the new stand an improvement on what was there before?
I miss shark games... beach in the morning, followed by lunch another swim and then head upto to Sharkies to catch the first televised game on TV in the club and then head in and see the game.
I had a Mexican Phd Student start with me before I left for germany and took him to a Sharks v Cowgirls and Derby games and he was hooked... though he's a Tigers fan now.. I guess living ner Lichardt Oval does that to you.

He only played about 5 minutes for Kiwi's and he dislocated his elbow which has gotten his confidence down and thats effected his kicking. after that he's just a different player
Well the stands been good for getting a crowd and bringing money into a club. But i use to sit on the southern hill and play a game of touch on the hill b4 1st grade game out and with the stand there we can't do that and its also gotten extremely hard to find room to wave around the big flags.

Well its something cronulla needs, good to see that its making $ for em.
Shame about the flags, it was a nice little area for them.
I tended to go towards the David Peachy Beer Hill.

He's got an extremely predictable attacking game which is one of the reasons we can't score many points, (we have yet to break 20 points this year). But his kicking game is top notch. But not sure if Barret is the right guy to replace him.

Barrett is class... but I can see your point as well, he may not fit in with the sharks. But I tell ya, maybe one of the English Halves would be a good buy.

We have a great forward pack now actually we're just lacking a back line that can get across the line.

I thought we were meant to have a good back line this year?
