He's got an extremely predictable attacking game which is one of the reasons we can't score many points, (we have yet to break 20 points this year). But his kicking game is top notch. But not sure if Barret is the right guy to replace him. Yeah I see your point, I think for Kimmorley to be really effective you need to have the forwards, which we are only starting to get back. Barrett is class... but I can see your point as well, he may not fit in with the sharks. But I tell ya, maybe one of the English Halves would be a good buy. I said Greseque, would be great buy. It's up to the Cronulla fans to get behind the idea. Of course you could spread fake rumours which is how a lot of teams end up making a play for signing a player. Sure if you sent an anonymous email to Danny Weidler you could get something started.

Greseque playing for cronulla, well stranger things have happened i suppose, would be a sight. Maybe as you said Ryan, sneak an anonomous e-mail to weilder and it could blow up.

I've heard he's a good player but i wonder why catalans didn't approach him when they were faced with replacing stacy jones this year? Instead he's still playing elite. Even christophe Moly I've heard good things about. I would have rathered one of those two playing halfback than casey mcguire (no offense casey).

ah gotta love the french lol. Just a on Greseque, how good is he? He is quality, I have seen him run games on his own and show massive flashes of brilliance outta nothing, but he is lazy at times especially when the game isnt going his way. I've heard he's a good player but i wonder why catalans didn't approach him when they were faced with replacing stacy jones this year? Apparently (this kind of story could only crop up in the small mindedness of French RL) his dad doesnt get on with Catalans Chairman Bernard Gauch. So Gauch wont sign him and Greseque does not want to play for them!!........EVER!! But the main thing about Greseque is he has had two chances to play SL and each time he has come back after playing maybe one or two games without impressing, leading most fans to think one thing: he is lazy and preferes to be a big fish in the small pond of Elite1 One other thing at Pia he is easily the best player in the Elite, so therefore will be one of the best paid, he also has a job in a French government department working as a lawyer (obviously a well paid job) So as a part time hero in France he is earning the same, if not more than he can in England as a squad player. I can tell you one thing for sure the day he plays in the NRL is the day I do, he really, really does not have the application to play at that level week in week out and why should he when he can earn more at home? Even christophe Moly I've heard good things about. I would have rathered one of those two playing halfback than casey mcguire (no offense casey). Mcguire is twice the player Moly is, not many in SL with a kicking game like Mcguire and he really is showing Thomas Bosc the way.

If your looking for young French halfbacks to tout around look no further than Mickeal Murcia who is at Limoux and was chased by Catalans.
Also Carcassonne 5/8 Amar Sabri had a stint at Hull's Academy last year and ripped trees up, they tried to sign him (and the dragons) but he is contracted to ASC for another 2 years.
They are better long term prospects than Maxime.

OK will look out for those 2, so what kind of money does elite pay? As for casey mcguire i didn't realise he had become so good, don't get me wrong he looked good when he was playing with the broncs but he was overshadowed by lockyer, have seen him play once this year in SL. Bosc seemed to do alright without him there, won halfback of the month. So those 2 you named marv, will either of them be picked for the WC squad you think? I have high expectations now

OK will look out for those 2, so what kind of money does elite pay? Its impossible to say but just two big(ish) names who went over this year are Chris Beattie and Paul Franze, who would have earned decent money if not in Aus then they could have got a gig in the UK so it cant be bad to entice that quality of player over. As for casey mcguire i didn't realise he had become so good, don't get me wrong he looked good when he was playing with the broncs but he was overshadowed by lockyer, have seen him play once this year in SL. Bosc seemed to do alright without him there, won halfback of the month. I think Casey and Bosc are working really well together, it not nesacerally Casey being a geniuos, but his kicking game and experience are vital for the dragons. So those 2 you named marv, will either of them be picked for the WC squad you think? I have high expectations now I would like to think so but I'm not sure. From what John Monie has used so far he will use James Wynne and Maxime Greseque in the halfs with Bosc at FB and Julien Rinaldi(quins) at 9. Maybe Boscs form in the halfs this year might sway his desision and he will use Bosc in the Halfs with Greseque or Wynne. Problem is for France is to get their talented players playing in a position thats familiar to them as they dont have huge numbers of quality players, also about gettin the best form those players. Obviously look at the mid season test for a real indicator of Monies starting XIII
