Don't be so sure, apparently colin love is doing his best to have the Kiwi ESL players released for it. If that happenes expect a completly different Kiwi side.
Nothing like a side with its back to the wall biting out and casuing an upset.... For mine this can fo 50-50 and will be close 4-8 points difference.

Well this NZ will be weakened with the absense of Marshall, Luke and Inu, but still i think it won't be too bad. What the hell I'll make a scorline prediction - AUS 32 - 18 NZL.
WC however i have tipped NZL as a strong candidate to win the thing if they can get their full side, if not well then bye bye. Australia will be tough to beat though, really tough. If NZ and England get their best sides along with PNG we are in for one hell of a pool A IMO.

McLennan always complained about not getting his ESL players when he was the Kiwis coach, can he put his money where his mouth is? I think this matchy should be sheduled on the same weekend that the England vs France game is. If that happened those ESL players would miss one game tops.

It may happen next year, the main reason for the April/May test is that its anzac day and this is the Anzac test match... but if they get rid of it as they plan to then the weekend of the England/France test may be a great option.

Why not move England V France to anzac day weekend next year? That is if the game is even played next year... Hopefully it will become a regular fixture.

Well, I think the date is irrelevant, its that they should be on the same weekend so all teams can field their strongest side.

Yeh i suppose so, still there is that history in the anzac test so why not play both that weekend? When you think about it I think only 2 players from ESL will play for NZ; Webb and Hape, no NRL players will play for England, maybe 1 for france, i heard ray cashmere was eligable but i doubt he'll be playing for France. Also be interesting to see if Webb plays, Like KF said McClellan used to complain about not getting SL players well now he has the power to change that (for Leeds atleast).

Yes the history is there, but NZ have already said they will not play another one as they can't get the best team up to compete.
But again the actuall date is irrelevent... Really you should have laso on that weeknd a free weekend of club footy and have most teams be involved in test, PNG, Tonga, or Ireland Wales, Germany v Serbia... Its a great things to do.

Yeh that would be a great concept. International Rugby League Weekend. Why not have any team that wants a part involved; USA, Japan, Tonga, PNG, Serbia, Germany, Italy, SA, anyone. Make it a world-wide event. Maybe it would be an idea to have 2 weekends during the year so each country can play at home. Have a week off each time in all Pro Club RL so the best players can play and it eliminate the need for byes. Think of the possibilities; Australia Vs NZ England Vs France PNG Vs Fiji Tonga Vs Samoa Netherlands Vs Argentina Serbia Vs Czech Republic Germany Vs Italy Russia Vs USA Lebanon Vs Japan Ireland Vs Scotland Wales Vs South Africa Jamaica Vs Canada etc. Just ideas but you get picture, Try and flog the hell out of it in every country its played.

Yeh well there's endless possibilities, maybe more countries from South America will get involved like brazil, chile, uragay, maybe some more african nations, well if it were up to me every nation in the world would be playing RL lol. Anyway whats the news on Board of Asia? you though about getting china and india involved, theres a 1/3 of the worlds population right there.

Great news fo NZ this week with Benji Marshall and Isaac Luke both making a return to the NRL. So there are 2 very good players coming back when they were expected to miss the test. Hopefully all the stars stay injury free and Kristian Inu recovers in time and theyu will have their best team. Also on Australia Lockyer is back this weekend.
