So Who will win? I think there could be a boil over with France potentially being a dark horse here.

Australia have to be the favourites. It's been a long time since either England or NZ have beaten them. Of course both England and NZ can beat Australia but I don't think it will happen. France? IMO, no way. Maybe a bit more hope then anything in that prediction.

Well Aus are the favourites, your right, but the beaut thing about WC is that teams need to be on song for 5 weeks straight and that any slip up can cost you dearly, just look at the RUWC... and the AB's (sorry KF) They were odds on favourites and probably deserved to win more than any other team, they were the oly ones playing with a positive and fast attaching RU style, but France nipped em... and that's all it takes.
I'll put $1 on this that Engtland will beat Australia in at least one of their games.
I saw France twice last year and was totally impressed. Despite two losses they have the making for a new golden era of RL. The test in June will give us a clear indication of where they are at.

I have gone for NZ now, i will change this if they are hit by injury. However, if they can their i side similar to this then look out;
1. Webb 2. Vatuvai 3. Matai 4. Inu 5. Hape 6. Roberts 7. Marshall 8. Cayless 9. Luke 10. Asotasi 11. Mannering 12. Kidwell 13. Williams
Now this would be IMO the best possible side, what i great sight that would be!
Also with druzik on France, I think they can pull an upset if they make the semis, if the Pool A champ takes them lightly it could be a massive upset. France in the final of the WC, now that would be just great.

I think last year was.
I saw them return and compete with GB/Enhgland, get a series win over PNG, have a great full test win over scotland and nealry pip the Kiwis.
For most countries that is a very siccessful year!

Players like Pritchard, Faalogo, Rapira, Fien, Lauaki, Chase, Perett, Nightingale and Stanely can't even make the NZ side. It's good to see a lot of young guys in their as well.

I basically agree with that team, it's not too bad but it doesn't have the go to guys.

I agree, its a solid team without any go to guys as you say, I dont think there is enough quality on the bench either would anybody consider swapping Inu for Webb, and ropati for inu so webb 6 inu 1 and ropati in the centre? I havent seen much NRL but last year when i wathced more Inu was a fantastic fullback, but i guess he could play anywhere in 3/4
