I would keep Marshall at 6 and chuck and Fien in at 7. It's too early for Matulino for my liking, maybe next year. I hate Matai as a player as well so no support there. I basically agree with that team, it's not too bad but it doesn't have the go to guys. I agree, its a solid team without any go to guys as you say, I dont think there is enough quality on the bench either would anybody consider swapping Inu for Webb, and ropati for inu so webb 6 inu 1 and ropati in the centre? I havent seen much NRL but last year when i wathced more Inu was a fantastic fullback, but i guess he could play anywhere in 3/4 I think it's worth a go for a warm up game, maybe for the all golds or something.

Inu has played mostly centre this year but I do like him as a fullback. Ropati needs to be there on form, he has been great for the Warriors IMO, so has Hohaia.

Yeh I rate Ropati, needs to be there either in the centres or 5/8. Maybe even a utility bench spot. I never really liked Hohaia or Fien as players but I have to say they are in great form with the Warriors, especially Hohaia, he can play just about anywhere in the backline so would be a def inclusion for me. Benji is being groomed as a halfback and I think it could well be his future, I would have him running the show and ropati as a running 5/8 but that's just me. Also Isaac Luke and Brent Webb can do a bit of playmaking if required. I would definatley have Fai and Matulino in the 24 man squad just for the experience.

Look I may not be knowledgeable about stadium sizes and localities etc. However, I am quite confident in my football ability and that of my knowledgeability in them such matters soI personally do not believe a running five-eighth in Ropati would be such a great idea. He is a magnificent player but I believe the Kiwis need a 9, 6 & 7 that are all playmakers. There are a lot of players with magnificent players, great running games but I feel that they lack the brains to guide them around the field. I believe if you brang Stacey Jones back the team would go much better. It''s what New Zealand needs. I believe you could throw Peter Wallace and Anasta in as main playmakers and the likes of Thurston and Lockyer would be humiliated because the Kiwis have dominating forwards, strong, big backs and I believe this would upstage Australia, but you know, my opinion. So with that in mind then Marshall 6, Fien/Leuluai 7 and Isaac luke 9. Put the team on the go forward then the finishers can do the rest. I bet the Kiwis can't wait till Witt qualifies for them. Neither can I.

He is a magnificent player but I believe the Kiwis need a 9, 6 & 7 that are all playmakers. as I said it might be wise for them to use Webb at 6, as he chimes in reguarly and they have players that could cover at 1, as someone said Lance Hohaia is doing a good job for warriors at 1. maybe perret or Inu too. but one thing is a lot of sides rarely use their 6 in the old fashioned lockyer type way, and when stacey jones played he played scrum half and did the organising, so why not use a big running 6 with Fein 7 and Issac luke 9, because ropati doesnt have bad hands. great running games but I feel that they lack the brains to guide them around the field. I believe if you brang Stacey Jones back the team would go much better. this isnt a dig ryan, because i agree with you that the kiwis dont have the direction but stacey has retired and he hasnt played for over a year, leave the guy to rest, the fact is the Kiwis would have to replace him eventually, so lets get on with it. I bet the Kiwis can't wait till Witt qualifies for them. Neither can I. but should they always be looking at residential players, I personally think there are far too many aussies in the warriors side, your looking at 6 minimum each week

Stacey Jones is playing in the All Golds game so I'd chuck Marshall alongside him for a bit of experience. Kearney has expressed a desire for Leuluai at 7 and Marshall at 6 so that's the way to go for the Tongan game. Apparently Matai, Sa, and maybe Soiola require off-season surgery. Has Jason Cayless played recently? Last I heard he was injured and didn't even make the 49-man squad so I can't see him being there. I'd go with: 1. Webb 2. Vatuvei 3. Inu 4. Soiola (Ropati if Soiola is out) 5. Perrett/Nightingale 6. Marshall 7. Leuluai 8. Rapira 9.Luke 10. Lima 11. Kidwell 12. Mannering 13. Fa'alogo 14. Hohaia 15. Smith 16. Blair 17. Matulino

I dont see a leader out of Marshall and Leuleui Has Jason Cayless played recently? Oh no, I meant it in a hypothetical way. Haha whoops. However on one of the Footy Shows they threw up the idea of an academy for halfbacks in New Zealand with Andrew Johns. I reckon Stacey Jones would be a better ambassador than Johns, because lets face it, Johns took drugs, did the wrong thing and is proving himself to be quite a dickhead on Channel 9 (my personal opinion).
