The former National Rugby League star is set to join the Bulls for the upcoming 2010 American National Rugby League season. Wagon is an ex-NRL player with Sydney clubs Parramatta and St George. He has also played for the Queensland State of Origin side. Wagon is due to arrive in Philadelphia in mid-May to prepare for the AMNRL season, which is scheduled to kick off in June. He played over 230 NRL games and will be the highest profile rugby league player to join the AMNRL competition in its thirteen year history. “I am really excited to have another old St George boy join the Bulls! He will certainly add a wealth of experience and ability to the Bulls effort in 2010,” said AMNRL president and Aston CEO David Niu. “Wags will be the highest profile player to ever play in the AMNRL competition and we look forward to him helping us develop the sport of rugby league in the USA. "Not only a talented rugby player, but also a champion bloke who will be a huge favorite of US league fans.” Wagon has most recently been playing in France.

Wow!,
Thats a pretty impressive signing for the yanks right there. Probably exactly the type of player they should be looking for in general. Players of good skill with a lot of experience to pass on, towards the end of their careers. Good stuff.
