very slowly indeed. i guess if your going on percentage increases its pretty good though. its my belief that every sydney team would be above 10,000 if it wasnt for past complacency. brings me to an interesting question; how long before we see that happen? or for that matter, how long before a team reaches 20,000 mark? the drive for memberships is a long long overdure proces in the NRL. Souths and dragons are a lot closer to the broncos than i would have thought possible

A reason why Manly's membership is so low is because of the cost associated with it, because they want to stay at Brookie. In some cases I wish they would just do what the Bulldog's, Rabbitohs etc do and play out of the SFS that way our memberships would be as high as the some as the other clubs(lowering the cost of memberships like the other clubs). Talking to some fans at the Allstars game last night most might only become a "Maroon Member" because of the cost involved. Which doesn't count as a ticketed member

im becoming a member for the north sydney bears this year. it says on the page "this is not membership for the central coast bears, follow the link below for the central coast bears" lol. fyi membership for the north sydney bears nsw cup team is only $36 for 1 year, $51 for two, or $70 for three years. i figured i might aswell. i can walk to north sydney oval... What do you get in the package? I got my Sharkies one the other day and for $90 (1 year, interstate package) I got a shirt, keyring, key belt, stickers, and a ticket to the round 6 broncos game. I also got the $15 membership of the leagues club. Also am a member of Brisie Easts Leagues and Wynnum Leagues those were only $2. Jesus Dan I didn't realise you lived so close to me (I live in the Redlands) at the moment. Mate if your going to go to a Bronco game , Seagull or Tigers game I'd be interested.

what's wrong with playing a few games at north sydney oval? perhaps 3 per year. they'd get great crowds IMO and force the screwed up council to take some action over brookvale!

The problem with that is how Bear supporter's perceive the Manly club (they think it's our fault the merger failed not there own)who would probably rock up for the sake of it. I was thinking something like 8 games at SFS and 4 games at Brookie.

The difference between us and them is they started like 30 years ago so I'll imagine it'll be the same at the same time. We were hitting up people to go to the website who are Manly supporters (and you'd be surprised at how many live up here) to go and join up

How do you deal with the lack of Public Transport out there?

Wow,
Im in the redlands too, Birkdale. Its all one big happy family isnt it?.
I got Broncos membership this year, cost me $240 but that isnt the cheapest package. You get all the home games (obviously), membership to the leagues club, heap of merch, access to the members only bar at the stadium, members only entrance, a crack at origin, rep and finals tickets before general public. Works out pretty damn cheap I think.

I'm heading to Birssy for atleast one weekend this year for NRL purposes. Can't decide whether to take Broncos V Titans or do a weekend when both are playing at home. My brother is a Broncs season member and has seats row 3 right in the middle, great experience, never been to a Broncs V Tits game so that might be on.
