Watching the footy show last night...
Can someone please tell me why Timana Tahu and Vossy should not cop the full wrath of Rugby League International scores!

Watching the footy show last night... Can someone please tell me why Timana Tahu and Vossy should not cop the full wrath of Rugby League International scores!  Vossy does like to crap on, and what about Tahu? I think i missed it  Sterlo should be highly praised for finally talking about Ellis! he has been the Tigers best player all year and I havn't heard his name even mentioned in the media. Than the helpful contribution from Fatty "he's a pom who plays like an Aussie". |

So the two issues that came up for me.
1. Tmana Tahu's insistence that only in rugby union do you get to travel... well I am not sure what you call all those trips to the UK and France and PNG that rugby league players make, plus particularly at the lower rungs you get to travel quite a bit! The affiliated states to the Pacific Islands, The University team to South Africa.
2. Vossy's insitence that the sport is only 101 years old... eherm, erherm... 114 !

Ohh, welcome back to the ignorant Australian media, you'll get used to it soon. The Tahu one is hardly suprising, alot of League players that switch to Union say that, it may be true that they get to travel more often and to more places but I think it might be the same as "I want a new challenge" an evasion of just saying "I want more $". |

It started with him trying to give me shit about NZ not having a team of the century. I had to give him a rugby league history lesson, he was actually quite interested when someone confirmed I was telling the truth of the origins of league. I guess these are the results of the Aussie media. |

Dan you shouldn't admit to watching such crap. Man you wouldnt be saying footy show was crap if you lived in the UK, Boots and All is dire!! OH yeah... I have seen a few episodes of the UK boots n all (there is an aussie version as well) ... it is pretty bad. |
