Well, they still have Marshall playing at half back. He can play as good as anyone. I really think the game is going to be won in the forwards. The Kiwis do have some good outside backs now, Vatuvei, Nightingale they are try scores. If the forwards can get them momentum and give Benji a bit of freedom to get the ball out to those guys they might surprise us. Vatuvei on Folau is going to be a fantastic contest.
Luke would have given them great dummy half service, hes good at stealing metres up the middle. Halatau will still do a job for them, but he certainly wont have the same impact.
Lets not forget Luke was not the starting Hooker in the WC final last year, and they got over us then.
The only position that worries me a bit for the Kiwis is the selection of Lance Hohaia at fullback. Im a bit worried about how he will go under the high ball with the likes of Folau, Hodges, Inglis and Boyd coming after it. He has been playing well for the Warriors, but he does seem to be a bit up and down with his form.

Yeh I was thinking just club sides, I'm still only 1 so i have a shit load of time. Your that young! Get enough signatures and I am sure the UK govt will grant you citizenship! Seriously though if you do make it over look at playing for the Euro Celts. maybe add an 8 behind that 1 and we're set.

Australia is the smuggest team ever. If I wasn't born here, I'd relish the chance to break Billy Slater's jaw with a swinging arm.

I think we'll get thrashed tonight. Australia will be desperate for revenge against us for the world cup and we never perform well in one off tests. So yeah, I reckon we will lose but it still won't mean anything. If we did win we could easily claim to be the World Number 1 and it would be big as we have never won an ANZAC test in Australia. Personally, I can't see it happening.

I think that it should be a close one. I have a Kiwi colleague joining me to listen to the match today so there will be friendly banter going on.

Completely expected. It's a bit disappointing it wasn't closer. But, whatever, it doesn't really mean anything. We have lost these games for ever. We will be up there competing at the end of the year. I will say it again, maybe these games will be more competitive in NZ. Otherwise we'll just have scores of 30-10 for the next 100 years.

Thats a great point Kiwi fan, they should alternate it, or at least have one over in NZ every couple of years.
Despite the scoreline, the Kiwis didnt do that badly. Their first half was very good, they put a lot of pressure on but they didnt convert that into points enough. Its a pity Isaac Luke, Frank Pritchard and Jeremy Smith were all out.

Agree with Kiwi Fan... have alternating years in NZ and Aus.
I think the last time NZ rolled Aus in the mid year test was in Wellington... no?
I only listened to it over the net ... its hard to really guage how well the Kiwis did when you have Gus and rabs going on and on with their biased opinions.
I wouldnt mind people putting up their thoughts on here.

I was just hoping Slater died. Sadly, didn't happen . But yes, play some of the games in New Zealand, I think we might see a different score. Then again, New Zealand should still be able to win in Australia. I think Wayne Bennett not being there might've contributed a little too.

It depends what you want bigger crowds or a closer game.

Last year we had Bennet and the game was over inside 20 mins, of course.
