mmmmmmmmmmm Now I am starting to get Jealous... OH well I"ll be listening in over the radio on Friday. Quiet you!, you have the whole bloody four nations tournament at the end of the year!, How do you think that makes us feel? No that is not a guarantee, since in a month I will be unemployed and have no idea if I will be in Europe or Oz... job hunting not going so good at the moment... anyone need a fusion spectroscopist? But if I do end up staying in Europe, its more so the 4 Nations final I'll be seeing, marv and I have a bet to settle that night. ;D There is the Euro Nations cup and Final in Bridgend, I have to finally get to Belgrade and Moscow to see games as well, the Euro Bowl, the Euro shield, Challenge Cup final and Skolars night again, Super league grand final - 3 years in a row can Leeds do it again! And what ever touring team we have the next day... not to mention I will try and get out to the Belgium v Germany match in Brussels.... If in Oz, depending where things are, Pacific nations cup and Medeiteranean cup games in sydney. Oh it will be an expensive year again...

Yes I need to find out more info on the Pacific Nations cup, id love to see some games there. Not much more to know... the matches were going to be played as double headers with the med cup, but there was a fan backlash that it was devaluing the games, so they are now looking at either having one of the PI nations host it, or have them in their own stand alone venues in Sydney. Read Rugby League Review, Terry Liberopolous seems to be on top of things there.

Yeah I was at the WC final too,
One of the best nights of my life, despite losing. The pubs were packed with people from different countries, the poms took over one small pub with a beer garden which we went to, they were singing all their bloody songs and they got us all to join in with them. So much fun. I saw so many Hull KR shirts and jerseys that day, more than any other club.
But yeah, Druzik, I guess after being to my share of WC matches last year its only fair you get the Four Nations over there...if your still there of course.

Thruth be told, I have seen NZ, GB/England and France play alot in europe the last few years so the 4N round matches I am not so worried about, just the final and the Aus v NZ london game I will do and go visit friends and family in London. Its the smaller nations I love seeing, get to see the growth of the sport, meet and hangout with the players, coaches and admin from the nations and governing bodies, and watch rugby league in some of the most beautiful cities in Europe/the world. I use them to get not only sporting but cultural experiences as well.

Ohhh, the KR boys certainly know how to party, I have copped a couple good drinking sessions with Evo (HULL KR AWAY DAYS) and his lot over the years... funny how its easier to understand t'Ull accent when completely fershnukered off your face.

Super league in the summer and the Elite in the winter, and in the elite you get to ESL and NRL start play as well... for mine i think its a very good competition, I love watching the LER matches. When you do go, let me know and I#ll suggest which are the good games / places to see and get you in touch with people.

I ended up seeing 7 different International teams play last year so I did ok I suppose. I would love to tour europe some time soon, next year maybe. Jeez I wouldn't even mind dusting off the boots and playing a game or two in a country like Germany or Serbia if that was possible. I will have to make plans one of these days, I've got some money saved and nothing much to do with it, spend most of it on alcohol and guitars these days anyway Anyway back on topic, 2 working days before I'm on a flight to brissy, can't wait. I said after the WC final that I had to see the re-match and touch wood it's all going to plan.

Playing some matches for the club sides is no problems in those countries I would think... national teams another matter.... hoever.... here is the Euro Celts side, which is made up of many nationalities and you could slip into that for who ever they play. Last year they played against germany in Bad Reichenhall for Leo Berngrubers testimonial... that whole weekend was soooooooooooooo much fun, depsite the rain.... actually the rain made it even more fun I think. I want to get my hands on one of the Euro celt jumpers, they look awesome! But sigh... I'll be at work on Friday listening to it on the internet.

Yeh I was thinking just club sides, I'm still only 1 so i have a shit load of time. As for national sides, I qualify for Ireland and France but I don't think I'd make it that far ;D. Oh and I managed to convince about 20 people I was a Pom not tto long ago so maybe them aswell.

Well Isaac Luke couldnt beat the charge, so he will be missing out on the game. Dean Halatau will come in as the replacement. Halatau has been playing well, but Luke will be missed.

True, that will ruin the Kiwis chances. If you look through the teams, they look like they could match the Roos. But the big difference is Fien at half, the Kiwis don't really match up in the halves. Luke would've provided something else there, but now they don't have that, so they don't really have any high impact excitement players. What they have to do now is slow the game down. Make sure Australia doesn't get quick ball. Just try and play technical, not explosive and exciting. If they have the lead half time, I think they can run away with it, as long as they play how they want to play, not try some magic stuff because Folau and Inglis do.
