First and foremost, a merger of any kind is completely out of the question. For what I remember geographically, Whitehaven and Workington are about 5 or 6 miles apart whereas Barrow is at least 60 miles from these two towns.
I'd love to see a Cumbrian team up there going on current form alone, Barrow are your best bet. Speaking to Marv on here, I keep an eye on how they are doing and it is great to see them challenging.
