Criteria for points: The winner, 1st try scorer, 1/2 time score and full time score have to be spot on to get the points, the tie break points is given if its within a try i.e. +/- 4 points. The tie break though is ony used to separate people on the same score. So the points are only for the 1st 4 categories. |

Hey even I am shocked by that... i am usually about as usefull as tits on a bull when it comes to picking scores and things like that.
Hey, should we add on the tie break points as well, or leave them for only when the scores are tied at the end?

The tie break should be used only to crown a winner if there is a tie at the end.

OK the table is re-done according to our strict criteria now. There is no way to argue it I think its all pretty much covered.

So after the first round... wow what a tournament so far. We have seen pretty much everything, the Ireland v Tonga match so far has been the match of the tournament.

I hope that the first round makes people sit up and go out and sell out all the matches.
Round 1 Tipping
Its faily close with everyone still in with a great chance to take it out. The matches are much harder to predict and with the great attacking play even the 1dt try scoreers are difficult to get. Anyway after the first round weekend here are the standings.

LAST slow n steady wins the race Its early days yet mate... this round is gonna be one of the breakers I think as there are potentially so many upsets... and difficult games to pick. Tonga-samoa is a 50-50 PNG-NZ in reality is also that close ENGLAND and Aus... ok Aus favourites but hell england are playing well and will be prepared for this one. Fiji-France for mine is the only one where I am confident france will win... then again not muc isknown of the fijians. |

After round 2, Marve, Kuwait and Rhino have roared into the top 4 witrh some good picking... druzik did terrible this time round and has gone back to from of being useless at picking.
The fiji france game was the killer only marve got that one.
