Good to see England isn't taking them lightly. and rightly so, in private maybe they see the game as an easier touch than the others, but that attitude in public wont win many fans and could backfire, I think its right to prepare as normal, and we keep saying, PNG they almost certianly wont win, but they will not just lie down and die for sure.

Best attituse to have I think, I would absolutley laugh my head off if Australia or NZ get beaten by PNG if they don't field their best team. Looks like anyone outside of that 17 may find it hard to get a game, maybe a replacment here and there or an injury. Hopefully all teams can have good runs with injuries.

Belive me mate, me too Looks like anyone outside of that 17 may find it hard to get a game, maybe a replacment here and there or an injury. Hopefully all teams can have good runs with injuries. Yeah, I think that is the case for everyone because the squads are only 23/24 man, which i feel is too small.

PNG should be proud of the way they played.
to lose by 10 points and have a 1/2 time lead is spectacular.
I hope this makes everyoune sit up and watch that PNG are worthy opponents and also IRL is alive and kicking!

Just thinking...
With this result, how vital for PNGs prep was last years tour, to get 3 tests and two tour games, as well as their SoO games and the pmXIII games.
Shows how vital internationals are to the IRL scene and the WC!

Results are in and here's how we did
Match Tipping Marv 1 Jim 1 Druzik 1 Kuwaiti Kev 1 Beez 1 Ryan N 0 JessieJames 0 Rhino 1
Everybody on point here exept JessieJames, hard luck mate but well done everyone
1st Try Scorer Marv 1 Jim 0 Druzik 0 Kuwati Kev 0 Beez 0 Ryan N 1 JessieJames 0 Rhino 0
only me and Ryan got this one, always tough to get right so well done Ryan.
Half Time Score
Well done to JessieJames who predicted the Kumuls would go in at H/T ahead, well done mate. No-one else got anywhere near with this one, only Jim came close but with the scores almost reversed.
Final Score A clear winner in this field Druzik predicted the full time score to withing two points for each side
Tie Break question
The combined score was 54 points no-one was on the money with that one, Beez and Druzik both got closest with 50 points between the two teams(4 short of the correct tip) so they will share the top of the tipping table for the first day.
Well done to Beez and to Druzik
League Table (1pt for correct tip- 1pt for tie break win)
Beez 2points Druzik 2points Marv 1point Jim 1point Rhino 1point Kuwati Kev 1point JessieJames 0points Ryan 0point

Marve I think you need to re count that... I think its You me and Ryan in the top with 2, and with the tie break, I have 'top spot'.
I am doing up a table that will collate all this.
