After the ad was launched I saw it a few times but since hadn't seen it for aboput 2 months.
That was until about 5 minutes ago when I saw the ad again. It wasn't on 9, not on Fox Sports, it was on Channel 7 on during the Olympics telecast ad break!
Hopefully I'll see it again during a more high profile event that more people are watching. Currently Men's Gymnastics are on and before the ad break track and field highlights.
Good move by the organisers getting it on 7 since ALOT of sports fans will be watching.

Is this ad like an ad either side of the Actual adverts for something the channel is running like we have here? Or a genuine advert, is 7 getting any of the games?

Um not sure what you mean by the first one, might be an english thing. The ad is the one with Jerome Guisset passing the ball, keith peters putiing his hand over his heart, rob burrow holding up the shield, roy asotasi throwing a spear, lopini paea bending a bar , wasaile suka stepping and weaving and gasnier at the end holding up the trophy. All this while words like Passion, Heart etc. etc flash on the screen and Natalie Basingthwaite sings Hero. I think you can watch it on the RLWC08 site. Anyway yeh it's a full 30+ second ad during a break of the Olympics. It is great because 7 have no rights to RL and aren't showing any games, but RLWC has ads running where most sports fans will be watching.

Um not sure what you mean by the first one, might be an english thing. Ok say your watching 9, and the Ads come on.....before the "proper" ads come on for cars or coffee we will have a ad for the channel itself so it will say "tonight on 9 at 9 its CSI" or whatever then the commercials start and they generally do the same at the end of the break too. I will do, about as much chance of seeing that on UKTV as you have pissing in the queens handbag.

In NZ I've seen the ad on Maori TV a few times (and I only watch one or two programmes a week) but haven't yet seen it on Sky which shows all the NRL games and will be showing all of the RLWC which is a little disappointing.
It's good to see the ad on Maori TV but Sky would have way more viewers.
