Dunhaney Park sharks seem to be ripping into everyone, even the JDF. Have two of three trophies this year already I think.

The Duhaney Park Sharks confirmed their status as Jamaica Rugby League Champions when they defeated a spirited Vauxhall Vultures 34-18. The Sharks having won two out of the three trophies on offer this season will now turn their attention to the Premiership. Sharks Confirm League Status
The Sharks met stiff resistance from a Vultures outfit playing without a number of their marquee players. Vultures scoring machines Odel “Flash” Hyman, Mohenjo Thompson and Kemar “British” Gray were all absent. The Sharks were without regulars Jermaine Wilks, Jermaine “Squaddie” Pinnock, Romeo Monteith and Robert Stephenson and Miguel Thompson.
The Vultures dominated the first half and jumped to out a 14-2 lead. The Sharks had the last say of the half when Calvert finished off a beautiful move between Reid and Wade. The Vultures led 14-8 at half-time. In the second half the boys responded to a good pep talk from Captain Reid and the coaching staff. They then went to work to address the score line. Ricardo Bair was introduces early in the second half for his first run since being married, he seemed a bit rusty but gave the boys the necessary lift with some great runs and aggressive defense. Once again, Reido led from out front by getting on the score sheet. Tapper made a great solo run from the back of the scrum, falling inches short of the try line, he played the ball quickly and Reido at half back, lounged in for the try. Ricardo “Lasco” Osbourne also got on the score sheet; however, he botched several potential scores with a bit of selfishness. Other Sharkies that came to the feast in the second half were Peter Tapper, Jerry Braham and Damian Smith. Final Score Sharks 34-Vultures 18.
The Sharks committed numerous handling errors and seemed a bit flat, that may be understandable seeing the boys knew they had already wrapped up the League title. Young Michael Barclay started at hooker for the boys and put in another good display at half back. Tapper did his best to keep the forwards moving and took a pounding early on. The Vultures were impressive with Carlyle Burgher at # 6 creating havoc with precise long passes. www.sharksrugby.org/
