Goddam Frenchies! Now there are talks of Slater and Thurston being linked aswell. Now nothing may come of this but I was confident nothing would come of the talk of Gas and SBW going but look how that turned out!
Expect atleast 1 more in the next week or so, Steve Gillis has said that a player he is managing has pretty signed a deal and that will be announced before too long.
Just on SBW, the Dogs are trying their hardest tp get an injunction on him because unlike gasnier he broke contract. If so that would mean he won't play anywhere for 4 years because there is no chance the other dogs will want to play with him.
Stupid decision by SBW

Sonny Bill to Challenge the Salary capSo he wants to challenge the cap... well what is this going to do for him and all the sports in australia? All four football codes have salary caps, if Sonny is wins basically clubs will go bust as trying to outcompete each other combined with the pokie taxes this will be the death nell for many. There has been much critisin mof the NRL writing to the IRB and ARU about this, but Gallop is right... all these sports taking pot shots ar RL are now, in one swift move by a player, looking through their ledgers to see how financially f*cked they are gonna be. Every single professional sport in Australia needs to be extremely worried at this turn of events... they all should tun Catholic, get on their knees and start praying to god that the Doggies and NRL can win their cases, because if not then sport in australia will go back to the days of the 70's and 80's. BUT, there are other underlying issue that Sonny is not thinking about. His rat of a managers has jumped ship... Khoder Nasser no longer claims to be his agent, some guy in the UK that is renown for shafting players is doing it all... Has Sonny Bill allowed himself to be used and manipulated once more?, looks like. But what SBW does not seem to understand is that even if he does win the Salary Cap case, then he will still be sued and taken to the cleaners by the dogs... slary cap and Contract are not tied together. He has signed a "watertight contract" and has brokien it. He potentially is stuffing himself and the sporting codes in two countrries by doing this. He just better pray they he perform for Touloun as the french are much more ficle and willing to tear up contracts.
