With July 22nd getting closer and closer I'm getting excited.
Here is my prediction for the 14 teams to be given licenses.
Leeds Rhinos St Helens Wigan Warriors Bradford Bulls Huddersfield Giants Catalans Dragons Wakefield Wildcats Hull KR Hull FC Warrington Wolves Harlequins RL Salford City Reds Celtic Crusaders Toulouse Olympic
Widnes and Castleford miss out.
I hope I'm not disapointed.

Mine is the existing 12 SL teams with Celtic and Salfors.
Widnes recent history with their financial problems will be given 3 more years to find stability, Tolouse will get a NL1 spot I suspect to prop them up.
Salford just have too much class at the moment in all aspects not to be given a franchise.
Come 2012 though look to a 16 team SL and so will make life much better.

I think the two will be Salford and Celtic, right now is Far, far to soon for Toulouse and French RL.
I am impressed with the development that is now going on at Celtic and we are seeing local lads in the first team, going right back the the rlif boards they were my biggest problem with the crusaders.
Widnes have had too many problems off the field to be considered allthough I feel its wrong to leave a club out which produces so many kids and can draw crowds of 8,000 plus and has the stadia to rival any other.
If I was choosing I would have Widnes and Salford with celtic already confirmed fo next time only on the proviso that the continue the sterling work at grass roots.
