This off the TRL thread interesting comparison NRL :with 15 games played by most clubs (2 byes), the cumulative attack / defence is 10,074. average per game is 42 points per NRL game. Best Attack in the competition : Manly 25 per game Best defence in the competition : manly 13 per game Worst attack in the competition : Souths 16 per game Worst defence in the competition : warriors 29 per game. ESL : including the current round just finished :Average points per game : 48 points. Best attack - saints - 34 points per game Best defence - leeds - 15 pts per game Worst attack - Hull KR 19 pts per game Worst defence - Cas 32 pts per game Comparison :Difference in total points per game - 6 points per game. Looking at the best defensive sides in each competition, there is little difference in the averages, with 2 points being the margin Looking at the best attacking sides in each competition, the SL club has a much higher average than the nrl club by 9 points Looking at the worst defending sides, its fairly similar in either competition. Looking at the worst attacking sides, the SL side is slightly ahead. On this comparison SL fares very favourable to the nrl

its interesting but i dont see what purpose it serves really it doesnt prove the NRL/SL are similar, just that both comps are close.

Exactly, they are close, you don't want similar, they have two styles of RL playing, but show that overall the comps are close.
