Watching the Sunday Footy Show this morning and Laurey Dailey was talking about Origin and the possibility of some changes. Then someone bought up the name Feleti Mateo and Laurey said saomething like this; "We definatley lookeed at Feleti but he is not eligable for NSW is is eligable for Tonga, He originally confirmed for NSW but there is a rule that stops us from picking him". Tonga actually having something go their way. TBH I would extremely doubt Mateo would hang around after WC and I have my doubtsa he will even play for them in the WC. Would be great if he played in the WC, then continued until he retires. The 6 nations in America will hopefully keep a few players on board, let's face it 3 or 4 weeks in america is an attractive proposition.

I have since learned that the only reason he isn't playing NSW is because he didn't do his paper work right or something like that. Now he has switched his allegances to Tonga but it is very doubtfull he will stay after the WC saying he still wants to play for NSW but doesn't want to jeopodise his WC jumper for Tonga.
No Loyalty at all.
I hope the RLIF come down hard and teach him and all these other free-loaders a lesson after the WC. Enforce the rules and either make them wait 2 years before switching or they can play on if they wish.
