OK so just put a bit of a poll up. So what are people's thoughs, will the crowds be better than last year? I personally think they will and i personally love the concept that is millenium magic.
I'm going to say 90,000 to 110,000 so thats 45,000 to 55,000 a day. Might be a bit high but hopefully plenty of people get there.

I think it'll be between 30-35k per day so 60-70k overall, which will be not too shabby I think

Just thinking about Millennium magic, i love the concept but do people think it will be long term? Seriously I would love it to stay but what happens if the game does get big in wales, do you keep it in wales or re-locate it? Maybe have another event the same in another city, maybe moscow, dublin, glasgow, rome etc. etc. I would love for the NRL to adopt something similar, the problem is where, nothing really near by, sure there is NZ but they have an NRL team and the country isn't that big. PNG, well i doubt PNG have a 25,000+ seat stadium let alone 70,000+ which would be nesessary. Maybe USA? I know I'm thinking to far ahead here, seem to do that alot lately

MM needs to become an event on the RL calendar.

I'm not sure, I would like to see it in a big country like Russia, Italy, Germany etc. but then again less englishmen would turn out because it's further away and the initial crowds may be p*ss poor... BTW 63,000 or there abouts on the weekend. So looks like you wre right dan, i was way off

Small steps.
I think it will be persisted with in wales for another few years, but them it could become something like a road show.
One year in Ireland, next in Scotland, then back to Wales, in England, France and then Germany maybe... or stay on the home nations.
It will give fans each year a new place to go and explore... venues or cities may want to bid for the right to host it and get money from it that way.
Russia wont happen just from a visa point of view let alone a logistical one!

Yeh I don't mind that idea, the problem i see is the effects it had in year 1 may be lost by the next time it comes around. Maybe even have 2 a year? maybe... not sure. I would love to see the NRL do something like MM but where, NZ i suppose would be the best bet, PNG are no chance, I would love for them to take games to USA but it isn't really logical, I mean the MM is logical because it isn't far to travel for pommies.

Nah, too many teams in Oz, particularly if the next expansion goes to 18 teams! 14 in ESL will be tops for MM, if they go to 16 it will be a tough to do. Also in Oz like you say, * OK NZ is a possibility but what Can MM do what a good international series and the Warriors or Future orcas can't do? * PNG are already sold on RL just need to get more interaction between their national team and ours and others nations. *USA or HK etc the distances and logistics involved are just too great. Many teams would not afford it. I think the Aus day challenge and WCC are where it needs to be targeted at.
