So this has been announced today, Whitehaven and Leeds doing a deal.

This should also provide a nice path for the Whitehaven lads to get to Aus as well as Leeds and Souths are now sister clubs and also do player and admin swaps through the year.
A good move in my opinion... and one I think that should be done by more clubs. I guess the NRL and ESL are different in this case as many of out lower division clubs already are the reserve teams for the NRL ones. So no matter what (baring suspension and injusy) every weekend the players are out playing RL.
