England clinical, France diabolical. Bit of a let down. However I can't help but think France suffered alot from having 6 players out. A team with such little depth is always going to struggle losing 6 players. Also the fact that they had no front rowers at all with absense of Ferriol and Guisset must have hurt them. Gossard and Pelo 2 other SL players missing and 1st and 2nd choice halfbacks out aswell. Crowd also disapointing, 8500. I can't help[ but think the late announcment would have restructed alot of english fans and the under-strength France side would have kept alot of locals away. Anyway congrats England, from what I hear a great performance and hope you can push (but not beat) australia come WC time .

Your absolutley right Jim it would hurt Australia with their 4 First choice front rowers out too, Did you see the game? Crowd also disapointing, 8500. The crowd was a good one I was very happy, sometimes I dont know what you and Druzik expect, we said 10k would be magnificent, they got 8.5 well done Toulouse. Anyway congrats England, from what I hear a great performance and hope you can push (but not beat) australia come WC time . Yaa we can beat you you convict tossers ;D

Your absolutley right Jim it would hurt Australia with their 4 First choice front rowers out too definatley, behind Price and Civo there is a big step down, and both those 2 are about 33,34 and not too long left in the legs. Add too that another 2, most probably Kite and Myles I suppose and yeh there ain't much left to choose from. Nope, Fox only showed 1 SL game this week and that was Wakey V Catalans which was live. They might have thought that was some consellation for not showing the Test. The crowd was a good one I was very happy, sometimes I dont know what you and Druzik expect, we said 10k would be magnificent, they got 8.5 well done Toulouse. Yeh I'm starting to think the crowd was decent now, 8.5k is fair enough, I still feel on a better day with better planning it could get 12k+. Yaa we can beat you you convict tossers ;D You can try

Not wanting to go too far off topic, but I like talking props (most important position on the field you know ) I Like Dave Taylor, Luke Douglas, Bryce gibbs those guys are all still pretty young but I think they are fantastic players I think sometimes people think props HAVE to be older but not nesaceraly. Persoanlly I think some of the young props in the UK are some of the best in the world. Burgess and James Graham to name 2 Nope, Fox only showed 1 SL game this week and that was Wakey V Catalans which was live. They might have thought that was some consellation for not showing the Test. The Wakey V Catalans game was good thoughm, thought wakefield had it in the bag, Mogg was awesome for dragons well you didnt miss anything, i have the game on tape for anyone who wants it, next time druzik is over I will give him copies and he can post em to you when he is in Aus. Yeh I'm starting to think the crowd was decent now, 8.5k is fair enough, I still feel on a better day with better planning it could get 12k+. maybe - we will never know now I was happy with 8.5k consider only 13k turned up in Leeds in '07

Still prefer back row but prop is good fun aswell. I can tell you from experience Dave Taylor is great, played against him in '06 when he was running around in Schoolboys. The Wakey V Catalans game was good thoughm, thought wakefield had it in the bag, Mogg was awesome for dragons well you didnt miss anything, i have the game on tape for anyone who wants it, next time druzik is over I will give him copies and he can post em to you when he is in Aus. Yeh it was a good game, I rarely get to see Catalans play since we only get the ocassional away game that SKY cover. They are 6 points clear of wigan in 3rd now, that is a massive achievement. No reason they can't make or even win the GF IMO. maybe - we will never know now I was happy with 8.5k consider only 13k turned up in Leeds in '07 maybe, still I gotta think alot of Poms didn't make the trip that would If it was confirmed as an anual event like the anzac test. Also Topulouse Union being in the final that weekend alot of Rugby fans that may have attended the game were in Paris. Still though 8.5k is good considering the circumstances.

I can tell you from experience Dave Taylor is great, played against him in '06 when he was running around in Schoolboys. I think he's a bit of a freak! gonna be some player Yeh it was a good game, I rarely get to see Catalans play since we only get the ocassional away game that SKY cover. I agree, was saying to druzik on the phone last night they are certaintys for the top 6 just a case of which place. maybe, still I gotta think alot of Poms didn't make the trip that would If it was confirmed as an anual event like the anzac test. I agree mate hopefully the negative result doesnt put the rfl/ffr13 off staging the game next year. Also Topulouse Union being in the final that weekend alot of Rugby fans that may have attended the game were in Paris. agree again but only RL would stage a game which NEEDS publicicty in the same city at the same time as another major sporting event

Props are hopeless. They're just there for the idiots who can't play a real position. Try five-eight or lock forward, takes a lot more skill.

I have played lock and five-eight, five eight way back in primary school though. I quite like both, I don't think I'm a 5/8 anymore thats for sure but i still think I could manage lock, wel not at my current fitness level. Come to think of it the only positions I haven't played are Half back, hooker and fullback. Played wing last year but only because we had 11 players and I injured my knee, so i ran back on as a wing. We still won
