How can everyone vote for France but Samoa gets a vote? Because if you look at it some smart person didn't vote for New Zealand. That was me. Upset is coming. PRAISE THE RUGBY LEAGUE LORDS!

Funny that kiwi fan cos i think the same about the kiwis You better be careful, you almost set me off on a rant! We'll see, won't we? We will, i honesty think the big three will be too tough for PNG whatever happens. Its only natural for you, a kiwi fan to think PNG could turn England and its the same for me an England fan thinking PNG could turn the Kiwis, lets both hope PNG turn the Aussies If i can ask what makes you think you have the edge on us, bear in mind we whitwashed what was still a strong side last year?

Things like not playing enough warm up games certainly didn't help us. I'm certainly not underestimiating England but I think we have the potential to beat you. We'll find out.

-You smashed us in only one game, the other two games could have gone either way. Fair point. -We were going through a transistion period, trying things out. And with a new coach, a new halfs pairing, 2 uncapped wingers and four young forwards and a samoan prop in the squad we werent trying new things? -We wern't well coached off the field and werrn't well led on it. I know the feeling mate. Two words Brian Noble -We had young players who will now be better for the experinence. Ditto england like Burgess, Graham and Roby along with the aforementioned uncapped players. -We had the wood on you previsously. Not quite sure how you work that one when you consider we have won 7 of the last 12 (with one draw) and won 3 in the last 5 Things like not playing enough warm up games certainly didn't help us. Nobodys ever really played warn up games before tri nations ever so again cant see where your coming from. I'm certainly not underestimiating England but I think we have the potential to beat you. We'll find out. I agree mate i think You have the capability to beat the Aussies and us. I also think we have the capability to beat Aus and yourselves that what make the Tri- nations so exiting, maybe thats the thinking behind the supergroup.

Samoa and France CAN be in the qualifying semifinals game if they both top their respective groups, but CANNOT in the actual semi finals together.
Maybe KF didn't explain what he meant properly or something...

Maybe KF didn't explain what he meant properly or something... Oh yeah, I didn't think they were in the same pool, because I was planning on going to the French games in Canberra and Wollongong. I didn't know how the whole competition was being run.

Ahhhh.... simple
- the top 3 from the super group go through to the semis automatically.
- The top team of group 2 and top team of group 3 play each other in a qualifying match for the 4th semi final spot.
Basically its done that if you go by the current rankings then it will be Australia, England, New Zealand and either France or Tonga in the semis.

Interesting that with Tonga ranked 4th... no one has tipped them at the back end?

Interesting that with Tonga ranked 4th... no one has tipped them at the back end? Not with the "new" samoa side, the one i watched in leeds was very different to this one. plus Moi Moi and Tuiaki already out for Tonga, mayeb Feleti Mateo too?

Interesting that with Tonga ranked 4th... no one has tipped them at the back end? Well I'm hoping Tonga can knock off Samoa still, although ATM moment i think (maybe hope) it will be the ireland Vs Tonga game that decides the group winner. What have i got against Samoa? well nothing really but there side is going to be packed full oif old kiwis who aren't good enough anymore instead of good young NRL/ESL and Samoan based talent. Tonga will find it tough after losing Tuiaki, MoiMoi and now most probably Mateo. I don't like to say this but i wouldn't mind if Mateo got suspended or injured for the origin period, that sounds harsh but if he is still playing NSW WILL pick him and bye bye tonga. Also another that might be on his way to NZ or SoO - Feltuli Talanoa, i have watched several south's games this year and he is starting to recieve plenty of praise where as last year he got about his work without too much notice. Still though Tonga should have a good team; cannings, manufakoa, talanoa, emelio and more i can't think off right now. Also 4 people i heard were eligable, well 2 actually but 1 goes with another; Willie Tonga, Esi Tonga, Charlie Tonga and Michael Jennings. Now don't blow up at me if this is untrue because i simply heard it from somewhere else quite a while ago. Now Jennings is a class player and he did play in the Tonga Vs Jnr Kangaroos last year... only problem was he was a jnr Kangaroo! So there are 4 maybees to add.

Good on him I say, obviously Tonga needs him more but he isn't going to play for a country who he doesn't really want to play for.
