Just had a quick read through the posts guys and it's sounds like some good things are happening up there in Serbia..I am really pleased to here the good news..I hope the have a great season and good luck to them in their future endevours...Like i said i am very pleased for them.. ;DGo Serbia, and go the young fellow who has been granted a visa..Hope he makes it to the bigtime one day. ;D For many, serbia are the other IRK team that we support... the work that these guys have done over the last 10 years to get a stable viable comp going,,, not only a league, but a cup comp, university comp, and Juniors is fantastic... I reguylarly say that the Sebian Model should be copied... its done on a shoe string budget in the past and yet has achieved so much. To be up there and considered a 2nd tier team it fantastic... I really hope they can stuff a couple of the big teams this year

It's been a while since I was here last time (family obligations, holidays, etc.). Thanks for the support, first of all! Next, about Soni, he is still in Serbia, waiting to go to Whitehaven. He is so devoted and hard worker, so the offer for trial is natural reward for his efforts on the field. I'm just afraid if something move worse with this visa/work permit issue, it could be hard hit for him, although he is very calm and still right now. He keeps training with his club Dorcol Spiders and is in very good shape.
The second is actually a question for Druzik: Where did you get an info about Serbia v Ireland A match. I saw that only here, and there's a few words in roughyedspud's post at LeagueUnlimited's forum. I asked Jovan Vujosevic, our man in RLEF comitees and he didn't know anything abouot it, so I would like to know if that is reliable or not. You can send me that in PM if you don't want to uncover your source in public.

I figures if they had it it must have come through official channels.

OK, thanks! Serbian RL web-site is now on new location (due to change of national internet domain): www.ragbiliga.rs (it is much easier in Serbian language to explain this address than the old one, "ragbi liga" is Serbian translation of "rugby league").

You can find me in the RLEF article above ;D Cool, excellent. I assume spider sent you over? Thanks for the updates and I assume you'll keep us informed about future events with the studnets. Can you tell us how the university team for the championshpis and cup is selected? Is it the winning faculty that represents it or is it a selection of the best players from all the faculties?
