top 8 out of 11 teams! Are they nuts? Is it like a QF, SF and F?

top 8 out of 11 teams! Are they nuts? Is it like a QF, SF and F? I think so 8th plays 1st - 2nd plays 7th and so on. you may say nuts but it does give ALL the teams a chance right until the end, i think Lyon can technically scrape 8th

Yeah if they win next round, and their postponed one againt Villeneuve then they'll take at least 8th, possibly 7th. Lyon for 2008!

Just had a quick squiz on TRL about the Lyon Villeneuve game, apparently V's bus broke down and thus why they were a no-show that weekend... and apparently a 30-00 win has been given to Lyon... now am not sure if that's really fair they have a week set aside for catch up games like that... but still if this is true then it takes Lyon to the brink of the top 8 and into the finals... If they beat UTC and Albi lose then they are in!
This weeks vital games: Carpentras vs. Albi, Villeneuve vs. PIA, UTC vs. Lyon,

This weeks vital games: Carpentras vs. Albi, Villeneuve vs. PIA, UTC vs. Lyon, Well IMO its Villeneuves fault the game wasnt played, Lyon have a right to the points for me. I heard nothing would be decided until the weekend but if that is true then its fine by me Carpentras V Albi looks HUGE
