I hope so, obviously it will be tough at their place Cmon, its 1 v 4, you'll whoop em! LOL! one thing for sure mate is Im taking nothing for granted in the Championship this year. ALL sides have wins on the board, Toulouse are becoming a tough proposition not just at home, things will get better for Leigh, Fev are strong, Widnes will be up there come the end with Fax and Donny, gateshead and Batley will fight for their lives at the bottom. Things cant go smooth for Barrow all year either so lets wait and see, one thing for asure I am enjoying the Championship despite there being <Enters flatcap mode> "nothing to play for" <exit flatcap mode>

I dont know, I would imagine they are exeeding expectaions of what will be a 3 year plan, but if we are consistent and we get the ground looking something like then we could be a possibility, I think this time round we have to be looking at Widnes and Toulouse though I think so any other candidate wil ahve to be good

Well, my SL commments were a bit in Jest, but I would love to see a cumbruian franchise, and hell why not Barrow. Its the largest of the three west Cumbria cities.
If Craven can be increased to 10k then say in 2015 why not?
Agree 2012 will see Widnes and Toulouse in there... I think that is penciled in, but at the same time I think it will increase to 16 teams and so dont be surprised in Leigh and Fax get a run as well at the expense of a current SL club or two.
Do you think the RFL would be bold enough to drop Cats to Championship and promote TO if they feel the results arent there?

If we did take those 4 out of the champ you mentioned we would have a Super league of mediorcrtiy. Do you think the RFL would be bold enough to drop Cats to Championship and promote TO if they feel the results arent there? Maybe, they could do, I couldnt see it myself, but it should all depend on results and crowds IF catalans were not producing then they should be considered, you would say there are half a dozen SL clubs behind Catalans ATM

OK, hypothetically on current results Marv, if the next round of franchises stays at 14... which teams go up and which go down? Heck, thats a bit of a 64,000 dollar question. as the table stands right now and stadia stands now you would probably promote Widnes and Toulouse still as Barrow and Fax are a little behind regards plannign and stadia IMO. as for who drops out of SL you could pick anyone of Wakey,Celtic or Salford as none of those clubs have the ground or the playing staff to suggest otherwise.
