I was a bit stunned by that score Evo.
I listened to it on radio meseyside... Ray French was having kittens through the whole match... the guys a kack and a half ;D
Look I am not sure what happened ther from the sounds of it you had a lot of dropped balls and that cost you many points, French was saying that you played well but its not what I am hearing anywhere else.
Still, its been a decent start to the season for you and next week you should do well, I think its Salford yes, should be an easy run agaisnt the Rot Diabliere.
Dont worry, my sharks showed an even more inept performance tonight, you guys would have wlatzed 100 past them the way we played.

Second in the table, a 3 point gap from third placed Leeds. Still in the cup, getting decent 8,000 plus attendances and are rumoured to be in with a shout of signing some good players (Danny Houghton at Hull and Eorl Crabtree at Huddersfield) Only rumours of course but they are the ones I have heard recently.

The Derby game was bloody awesome. I stayed up till 1 am to watch it and am glad I did. A Sunday afternoon game and a packed stadium. I just love the crowd, it was singing and chanting all through the game, it really makes the aussie crowds sound, look and feel like they are boring. What was the crowd on the weekend? Dads getting a high def box this week so I can get all three english games plus the NRL ones... fantastic. I reckon channel 9 should look at picking up the Orange coverage of the Elite over the summer too. |

HAHA - I do remember you stating Fiji would suprise a few people and you were indeed correct, my man!
My little brother played in the reserves today instead of the academy. His coach pulled him to oneside and said Justin Morgan wants to see how he does in a more intense enviroment. It seems he did very well today and our young lads gave Saints Res a bit of a spanking.
I had my first pre-season game today, played 40 minutes, did pretty well and am happy with my contribution. Hopefully my fitness will improve the more games I get under my belt - next step is Featherstone!
