There is a lot of hope that Nicolas Larratt will get things rolling. Hes already managed to get the LER to get coverage of a main match once a week, which is more than before which was absolutely zero. hes managed to get more sponsors come on board with the Catalnas dragons so its encourageing.
Whats really needed now is stability in teh LER, not have clubs going bust every year because the spend past thei means.

new zealand rugby league has names their new chief executive. www.nzherald.co.nz/league/news/article.cfm?c_id=79&objectid=10581509he seems to have a huge job in front of him. on top of that i read that theyre advestising extensively for people to run the 7 zones for junior development. hopefully one of the first steps will be getting a game to actually be played in new zealand!! theres none this year!

bizarre is a very diplomatic way of puting it druzik haha
to be honest im not a fan of grant mayor. hes an okay administrator but hes nothing special. if were looking at current NRL administrators than there is two that stand head and shoulders above the rest; Michael searle (best ive ever seen , genuinely has the interests of the game in mind rather than just his club and has been touted many times as gallops replacement) and todd greenburg (what hes done with the bulldogs is just short of miraculous). in saying this theres probly more money and profile in running an NRL club and im glad NZRL now has a man with true business skills in power along with a woman who seems to be a brilliant marketing manager. the thing with RL is there are too many ex footy players in high power positions when they have little to no qualifications besides love of the game.

This is my first post on this forum and I would like to congratulate the Kiwi's win for the World Cup. they also beat the Aussies in England a year or two ago,the next time they played the Kangaroos they got a hammering, same thing this time,we gave you a thumping soon after the cup loss....it is still good to see the Kiwi's coming to the top, they play a totally more exciting type of a game to what the poms do and I can forsee a lot of exciting games in the future between Australia & New Zealand......It is a pity to see the All Blacks on the downward track at the moment I hope it will only be a bleep because on form they are EASILY the most exciting team in the world at RU.

Welcome to the forum!
The Kiwis as a rule of thumb do tend to better at tournaments than one offs. 2005 and 2006 3N they won or came close to it, 2007 tour was a blip... as much as i would have loved to see a French win in Paris in the end the Kiwis hardened the fuck up... Kiwis always do well in tournaments they tend to gain momentum... Marv we still up for our bet if I can get over to Europe?
One off test like the ANZAC test aus will always win I think, but the kiwis need it for the $$$.
Look RU I don't really care much about... I agree though the AB's are the most exciting of the lot... that is my diplomatic answer

nah no articles this month daniel. probly cos there was plenty of games like the euro bowl and euro shield for them to report on.
i expect a crowd of around 5000 for the tonga clash, same as last year. more would be great though.
