Name: Beez Age: 26 Occupation: Live: Wellington, NZ Support: Wainiuomata, Wellington, NZ, Newcastle (that will change once Wellinton get an NRL team). Hey guys, I've just got back from my trip to the RLWC (I took off to Asia after). Tried to keep up over there but it was a struggle. Now I have finish my degree which I started with the intentions of being a league/sports reporter but after studying the media I have taken a dislike to it. Also, I've never had any involvement in rugby league except for as a supporter. I understand. I studied journalism -- via long-distance education -- in 2006/2007. I decided against using working in the field because it's a cut-throat business. I feel sorry for reporters because they are given unreasonable deadlines. Only the coldest, most unfeeling reporters survive.

I'm keen to stay in the media/communications field, just not sure where. Have a year left at uni so plenty of time to figure stuff out.

Hi all, I used to post on the old RLIF forum before that shut down so I'm looking forward to getting involved in the discussions on international rugby league again.
